This fix will save your SSD from a Codex bug!
Fully quit Codex, then run:
sqlite3 ~/.codex/logs_2.sqlite "CREATE TRIGGER IF NOT EXISTS block_log_inserts BEFORE INSERT ON logs BEGIN SELECT RAISE(IGNORE); END;"
Reopen Codex. done.
What happened:
Codex was dumping TRACE-level WebSocket/SSE/OTel noise into a local SQLite DB, then pruning rows and doing it again. the file could stay small while the WAL kept hammering your SSD.
On my Mac, the DB was only 89 MB but its counter had reached 115,211,968 log IDs

a friend asked me what I'm using for building.
me: "well, codex. it's from openai, so basically chatgpt. you know chatgpt. but not chatgpt like you know it. it's basically an environment made for coding, and now it's inside the chatgpt app as chatgpt work & codex..."
friend: "I've heard claude is good for coding & chatgpt is just for chatting".

is there any way to see the details of a spawned agent in codex - namely the model + reasoning used? my main agent is constantly spawning agents, but I can't see any way to inspect the details of these agents and ensure they are following my config.toml
