We do not want synthesized patented pharmaceutical kratom from Pfizer that we need permission from the guys in the white butcher coats to use. But, that's what we're going to get if we're not careful. Seems some don't realize how likely this outcome is.

@UberEats @Clorox Working for $0-$2 / hour & having to provide the commercial vehicle (which means you're earning less than $0) is crazy. Quite the operation you have over there in San Francisco. I suspect this company is run by a bunch of right wingers who thing slave labor is totally fine.

@Uber Uber brings in workers from 3rd world countries, pays them $2 an hour as independent contractors when they don't even know what an IC is, & makes them think that they have to accept these $2 an hour trips. Its a racket. Exploitation. Screws over American workers & abuses IC class

@dkhos @nuro @LucidMotors @Uber In 2026 Uber eats drivers earn about $2 / hour on a good day, but they pay people write articles claiming they earn $30-$40, get paid drop off fee, pick up fee, per minute pay, & per mile pay. This is 1 way they lure people in & it's all lies, all a predatory slave labor scam.

@junebradford56 @UberEats @Clorox 1.5 hours is also pretty quick for Uber time. It usually takes them much longer to find somebody who will do the job for no pay, even with how many non English speaking foreigners they've put in the platform. They're rather make the customer wait pay enough to cover gas.

@UberEats @Clorox Can somebody please explain to me why you let a driver pick up four orders. Our food order took an hour and 21 minutes to get here and was very cold. Also would like to know if there’s any way to block a driver.

@junebradford56 @UberEats @Clorox They'll pay the driver $1 or $2 for one order & then pay them $0.00 for other included orders. Doesn't seem like free labor if they pay for at least 1. Everything Uber does makes for a horrible customer experience, but they do not care about customers once they have their money.

@UberEats @Clorox Uber eats is now only paying drivers $0 or $1, or $2 at the very most... How is this supposed to work in today's economy? Absolutely insane. You're supposed to factor in labor costs into what you're charging customers. You're not supposed to just enslave the laborers.

@Kuljeet123r @dkhos @Uber @UberEats Yupp.. in 2026 you now have to work 12 hours to "earn" $20 on Uber eats now before 40% taxes / expenses. Total rug pull slave labor scam.. they pay more in 3rd world slave labor sweat shops.

@dkhos @Uber @UberEats @dkhos Drivers are struggling while you celebrate “10 million drivers.” Many feel underpaid, with fares lower than years ago despite rising costs. People are working 7 days just to get by. This isn’t sustainable—drivers deserve fair pay and respect for their work.

@dkhos @Uber @UberEats Classify goyim workers as Independent Contractors instead of employees. Then you can coerce them, pay them $2 an hour, & make them use their own vehicle commercially which makes up for that $2 pay loss, among other law skirting labor cost cutting benefits... Absolutely genius. ✡️

@sachinkansal @lennysan @Uber The most Uber pays the driver in 2026 is $2.00, & when you factor in commercial vehicle costs which fall on the driber, Uber is blatantly a beneficiary of free labor. It's an incredible labor system they have. It's hard to believe it's actually real.

You’re too kind, @LennySan! It was a blast talking with you about AVs, AI, my love of shipping and dogfooding, and all things product. If anyone has any product feedback for @Uber, send it my way 🙏
Lenny Rachitsky@lennysan

.@Uber's CPO Sachin Kansal is an inspiration for anyone looking to build a culture of dogfooding He personally drives Uber customers and delivers Uber Eats orders every month (he's approaching 800 trips so far), then writes detailed reports noting all of the friction points and opportunities for improvement, assigns owners, and follows fixes to closure. "Call it dogfooding, call it an obsession about the products that we ask our end users to use, and we should be using it ourselves. The app just feels different when it's in a moving car going 70 miles per hour." Learn: 🔸 How to operationalize a culture of dogfooding 🔸 How to shift focus from outputs to inputs 🔸 How Uber changed its culture to focus on profitability 🔸 Uber’s hybrid marketplace vision for autonomy 🔸 What to do when data says “no” but your gut says “yes” 🔸 Career advice: maximize cycles 🔸 How to build a “Ship, ship, ship” mentality 🔸 AI as a research assistant, not an oracle 🔸 Also: Two Uber rider etiquette tips Listen now 👇 • YouTube: youtu.be/MnBZlEQ14fY • Spotify: open.spotify.com/episode/60kKyR… • Apple: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/why… Some takeaways: 1. “Ship, ship, ship” = cut decision latency: Daily stand-ups, rapid product reviews, and a strict two-way-door mindset slash cycle time. Sachin will even draft a 15-page PRD over a weekend if it unblocks a team—but insists that’s the exception, not the rule. 2. Inputs over outputs: Whether weight loss, grades, or retention metrics, focus on the controllable inputs; outputs follow. This motto is the one he drills into his kids too. 3. Hybrid marketplace vision for autonomy: Uber divested its in-house AV unit and now partners with over 15 AV companies. A “hybrid network” of human drivers plus robotaxis smooths supply and demand (humans fill peaks; AVs stay busy off-peak). A similar model is rolling out in delivery via sidewalk robots. 4. Profitability through ruthless efficiency: Covid forced Uber to drop unprofitable bets (AV, Elevate), batch deliveries, refine promo spend, and trim support and payment costs. Today, profitability funds new bets without sacrificing margin discipline. 5. Career advice for PMs: Optimize for shipping velocity early. Five product cycles in three years teach the thousands of micro-decisions that build judgment (product sense) faster than any course. 6. AI already boosting PM workflows: Sachin’s teams use ChatGPT and Gemini for mock drafts, research synthesis, deep research “thought partner” prompts, and long-doc summarization—freeing time for judgment calls. 7. Empathy beats ego: Users spend minutes, not their lives, inside your product. Your job is to dazzle them in that tiny window, not expect them to think about you all day. 8. Quick Uber etiquette tips. Riders: Ask before taking a call; don’t slam the door. Eats customers: Turn on your porch light so couriers can find you. @dkhos @Uber @UberEats In 2026 on UE you have to work from sun up to sun up to earn enough to buy 1/4 tank of gas. You lose money. Even if you decline 1,000 trips, the algorithm will still send 1,000 more trips that lose money for the driver. Its worse than free labor. Things were much better w/ Travis

@Uber I feel bad for the drivers who thought Uber was a legitimate company who took out loans to purchase vehicles just for the algorithm to cut 80-90% of their pay / 100% of their profits months later. Extremely predatory, & clear blatant abuse of IC classification. Despicable.

@dkhos @Uber @UberEats When we first got lured into the Uber labor system, we were compensated a normal amount. Now, Uber pays absolutely nothing. Seems like something in the algorithm has changed because we have to work 10+ hours to earn what we used to earn in 1 hour & worker has to provide vehicles.
