@TimHoustonNS Please consider increasing the CCTH budget to reflect the vital role that museums play in tourism! We do not make living wages & our seasonal staff do not have income year round due to this and EI benefits for this type of work.1 increase since 08 @NolanYoungMLA @ColtonLeBlancNS

Nova Scotia is a prime destination for making year-round memories, thanks to our exceptional tourism and hospitality sector. It's no surprise that people from all over the world are drawn to our beautiful province. Cheers to another strong tourism season!

@TimHoustonNS I applaud this but it really should not be the government’s financial responsibility to improve cellular service infrastructure. The consumers pay for this service and it hasn’t been delivered. We should have been louder I suppose. But thank you for addressing it.

Our government is investing in improving cellphone coverage across the province. We need better coverage, and our government is moving to ensure Nova Scotians get the coverage they expect. Learn more about our plan here: novascotia.ca/news/release/?…

@CBCNS And yet I manage two provincial properties that have only received a 10% increase in operational funding since 2008 and employ 7 people for less than a living wage🤔

The Nova Scotia government is ending the 2022-23 fiscal year with a $116M surplus rather than the half billion dollar deficit projected in the budget tabled March 29, 2022.  ift.tt/RHtuDjo

During the forest fires emergency crews and evacuees could not reliably communicate with each other. News crews could not conduct interviews. This was inherently dangerous. @bell @TELUS It’s getting worse! Please act!

@telus having a great time trying to navigate emergency road closures to get home with virtually no cell service in most of non urban #novascotia. I recall finding a challenge doing this with the wildfires too. Fix this! My God!

@bellaliant did you know that in most of the Municipality of Barrington, I don’t have enough cellular service to send this tweet? The largest wildfire in NS history and emergency responders couldn’t even communicate as a result of poor or non-existent service.

(1/2) Barrington Lake, Shelburne Co.: Wildfire out of control & about 100 hectares. Hot, dry and windy conditions today challenged firefighting efforts. 1 helicopter & 15 DNRR staff onsite.
