Over the last thirty years, conservatives have been far too relaxed about the revolutionary constitutional changes made in our country. Conservatives should understand that we are merely custodians. We should govern not just for the present, but the past and future. Whilst it is true for now, today need not be the last day hereditary peers sit in the House of Lords.

There is something so wholesome about the Anglican liturgy. Unlike the reformed, it is free from being a lecture-hall study. Unlike the romans, it is free from being clouded by penitential merit and salvific systematization. Unlike the east, it is free from vague mystery. Instead, it is a pure and simple catholic expression of the faith. True adoration of God without the distraction of underlying goals or intellectual requirement. It stands as true and pure worship and adoration of God alone.

In the UK the law prohibits the inhumane killing of third trimester vertebrate fetuses. The only vertebrate species not included are human fetuses. We literally treat unborn babies worse than rats.

It was fantastic to gather with church leaders and politicians, including @MarshadeCordova, this morning at the National Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast. It’s so important to support and pray for Parliament, so please join me in prayer for all of those that work in public life.

The decisions of the House of Commons this week to legalise abortion upto birth and assisted suicide are moral travesties and disgraceful assaults on the image of God in humanity. People of Christian faith should pray earnestly for repentance among our political leaders.

I do not like Sadiq Khan. But “right-wingers” who turn on the Monarchy (which lost effective political power in 1688) because the King carries out his ceremonial duties, including ones they don’t like, are morons.
