@SanDisk 1TB Extreme Portable SSD, 394MB of files take up 5.82GB size on disk with default exFAT format. With NTFS take up 444MB on disk (Windows machine). Why exFAT? Why NTFS? Pros? Cons? #ExtremePortableSSD

@gcaughey @archiecoder Like the flu, it probably will not go away for a long time and mutate as we've alreadyseen, we need to be mindful and be protected from it.

@archiecoder My thought is perhaps it really is. It’s just a matter of whether you’re going to be really sick, kind of sick, a teeny bit sick, or unaware you got it, and that mostly correlates to vaccination status.

@Suhail I wonder what kind of engineer or designer can be motivated to work on knock offs like that at big companies. They must tell themselves lies to feel okay about it.

@JuliaDavisNews So what about obese people taking up hospital space due to their dietary choices? Or drug addicts with OD's? You call these victims. Choices are Choices, same rules apply. Her body her choice.

Yesterday it was my last day working at Toradex. It's time for a change. But I will never forget the kind and smart people I've been working with in the past 8 years.

I just noticed a great little feature in Outlook Web (which might have been here for long, but I had not noticed before): the width of the columns in the calendar week view adjusts depending on what day it is. Today's is the largest, then tomorrow.. and yesterday is smallest

@housecor What you do and where you want to live makes huge difference. Let's say you are an US citizen, relatively good developer, able to get fairly consistent remote gigs, and like to live in places like Thailand. I think you can do it with less than 1M.

@levifig I would be interested in some recent Rails content too. I used to use it all of the time. I know people like to say "it's dead", but it's an excellent framework for rapid development

There are so many JavaScript YouTube channels. I would like to highlight some programming channels that specialize in other languages. If you have any suggestions (including your own), post it 👇

The "make everything an interface, just in case" movement is a scourge in .NET. Software developers think it is best practice and make their lives harder for no good reason. reddit.com/r/dotnet/comme…

@jeremybytes You have been one of my C# guru for years, attended and read thru just about all the key subjects you shared with the community. Love to have your views and insights about ASP.NET Core, EF Core and ADO.NET

I really like my car (2008 Honda Fit), but I would like to have a word with whoever designed the headlight access. To change the headlight bulb you have to go through the wheel well. Either (1) take off the wheel or (2) crank the wheel as far as it will go and jam your hands in.

In 1996, Microsoft released its first commercial pocket version of Windows, Windows CE. It initially powered Handheld PCs but evolved to do much more. I wrote about it for How-To Geek: howtogeek.com/703977/what-wa… Did you ever use Windows CE? What did you think?
