@Dev_Fadnavis जी, पालघर जिल्हा मुख्यालय असून सुद्धा लांब पल्ल्याच्या गाड्यांना पालघर स्थानकात थांबे दिले जात नाहीत. बोरिवली वरून गाड्या थेट वापी स्थानकात थांबतात. पालघर स्थानकातील थांबा विरार ते डहाणू मधील प्रवाशांना सोयीचा आहे. लांब पल्ल्याच्या गाड्यांना पालघरला थांबे द्यावे.

Normally, I am against new halts to Superfast trains like Vande Bharat and Shatabdi. But @WesternRly has been too generous with halts in Gujarat, while completely ignoring Maharashtra. Example: 20901/2 Vande Bharat originally halted only at Ahmedabad - Vadodara - Surat - Mumbai Central. Today, the same train halts at: Ahmedabad - Anand - Vadodara - Surat - Navsari - Valsad - Vapi - Borivali. The Anand, Navsari, and Valsad halts were all granted within a short timespan of 5 months between March 2025 and August 2025. What's funnier is that these halts are between stations at very short distances: Anand - Vadodara: 40 kms Surat - Navsari - 29 kms Vapi - Valsad - 26 kms After Vapi, there's a 140km gap between Vapi and Borivali. In what world is this fair?

@Ninad0921 @rajtoday @himanshuyv @adzod DFC अजून पूर्णपणे कार्यन्वित व्हायला वेळ लागेल तोपर्यंत सफाळे वरून मेन लाईन वर मालगाड्या येणारच. मालगाड्यांचे स्लॉट्स ठरलेले नसतात त्यामुळे एका ठराविक स्लॉट्स वर गाड्या चालविणे शक्य नसते तरी काही फेऱ्या वाढविण्यासाठी नक्कीच वाव आहे.

15-car & more trains for Dahanu. With local train trials done on Sunday, platforms are now upgraded to handle 15-coach locals, trains on the Virar–Dahanu stretch. WR has planned to run from Virar eight 15-car trains to Dahanu along with seven to Churchgate. But that’s only half the story. With the near completion of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC), WR officials said they will be able to take about 30 freight trains off the mainline everyday creating more space for passenger trains in the same stretch.
