If you’re wondering why I went live for 3 tornado warnings in Michigan today... Tornadoes don’t need a “big outbreak” or a high risk day to be dangerous. All it takes is one storm in the right environment to produce a tornado that can cause serious damage or put lives at risk. We go live for situations like this because these are the moments that matter most. It may not look like a big deal to everyone, but for someone under that warning, it is. It’s honestly wild seeing people ask “why are you live” when tornadoes at any scale can change lives forever.

I have been combing through the storm data, and my map turned out fairly well. It was certainly not perfect, but I feel I did a good job conveying what was coming to the state. Widespread 9"-14" fell across most of Central Indiana. LE banding North, mixing near the river.. #INwx

1 month ago today I had spine surgery. I have been recovering very well, but I am still in pain. I never would have thought I would be doing so well at the 1 month mark. Thankful to the Lord for staying with me the whole way! 🙏

While we await the next Euro model, here are some other models that have a northern track. ICON, Canadian, NAM 12km (only goes to 84 hours), and the NBM (Ntl. Blend of Models). The NBM coming north is a good sign.. just need that pesky GFS to get on board! #OHwx
