Nothing new here but Kevin Schnall and Dan Fitzgerald seem to be top candidates early in the process with Will Coggin getting a look also. I doubt it’ll be Coggin cause I think they wanna go with an established HC who’s been there before but we’ll see. I’ve shared my opinion that I think it’s a long shot on pulling Schnall (I don’t have insider info on that it’s just how I feel). But the Gamecocks will certainly throw the kitchen sink at him. Fitzgerald is my top want. I find it so impressive what he’s done with Kansas and building that program up. There will be plenty names that come along as the process is finally heating up here in the last week of the season but here in the early stages those are two to look at though I think this will be a long process.

I just had a great talk with a gentleman from Florence, South Carolina. During the Biden years the “Build Back Better” dollars where used to try to put a Section 8 housing project within 500 yards of the Florence Country Club, luckily the project did not move forward because of community backlash, but not before he sold his house and moved in anticipation.
This housing project scheme was nothing more than a vehicle for money laundering and it would have driven crime through the roof in a very nice area.
The sad fact is it wasn’t just Democrats who were in on it, Republicans were also. We have to put a stop to these shady projects in South Carolina. They are full of waste fraud and abuse and they drive crime through the roof.
