LiteLLM HAS BEEN COMPROMISED, DO NOT UPDATE. We just discovered that LiteLLM pypi release 1.82.8. It has been compromised, it contains litellm_init.pth with base64 encoded instructions to send all the credentials it can find to remote server + self-replicate. link below

Today, the AI-powered platform for hardware engineering announced $37M in funding, including a $27M Series B and a previously unannounced $10M Series A co-led by BCV.
Flux is building the world’s first AI hardware engineer, doing for PCBs what Cursor and Claude Code did for software: collapsing iteration cycles, lowering the cost of experimentation and putting real capability directly in the hands of builders.
@matthiaswagner and team are challenging the OEM-centric model that made custom hardware slow, expensive and gatekept by specialists.

🔥🔥🔥 @BuildWithFlux has raised $37M in additional funding to accelerate our mission to take the hard out of hardware and build the first AI hardware engineer!
This was a $27M Series B led by @8VC, and an unannounced Series A led by @OutsidersFund, co-led by @BainCapVC with support from @lennysan, and @mojombo. Special thanks to our investors @TeddySeem , @ajay_bcv, @JTLonsdale, @scottbelsky, and most of all, our customers that gave us feedback and stuck with us through the years.
This funding lets us move faster on the parts of Flux that matter most for serious work: A more capable AI Hardware Engineer, eCAD platform for more complex boards, and deeper ecosystem integrations.

Isnt the idea of all of these SaaS tools is that they:
* created a system that's useful and easy to use so people ACTUALLY use it
* have thought deeply about the domain model and edge cases
* have a million uses going through it a month to smooth out the system
So use Claude if:
* It's a simple workflow and domain
* If it breaks you can just have 'claude rebuild it's
TBH 99% of tasks fit the later as these coding tools have yet to crack the large concurrent user problem which the former tries to solve

I will double down here and say that within 6 weeks, my team will have cancelled:
- notion
- airtable
- superhuman
- zapier
- attio/hubspot
- clay
- linear
- chatGPT/codex
and other tools I'm forgetting to move entirely onto our Opus-powered all-in-one tool @microHQ

This is the most interesting part of this analysis.

Despite its high 50%-time horizon, Opus 4.5's 80%-time horizon is only 27 minutes, similar to past models and below GPT-5.1-Codex-Max's 32 mins. The gap between its 50%- and 80%- horizons reflects a flatter logistic success curve, as Opus differentially succeeds on longer tasks.
