This has been bothering me for a little while now: when did it switch from reviewer number 3 (@thirdreviewer) to reviewer number 2? (Based on the @secondreviewer handle, was it 2016?)
Our new program was so successful and innovative over such a brief period of time, we had to shut it down because we just couldn’t sustain that level of success over a longer time frame. Congrats to everyone involved! Great work all around!
@mariairenemoyna@ass_deans@ProfMoneyBags Heaven forbid they do what every professional school or university has done since the 1990s and designate a TA or student paid by the university to do that. medical schools have been doing this forever. kid with decent handwriting did notes and copied it.
@secondreviewer@ass_deans@ProfMoneyBags It also hurts people who don't have assistants to record, check sound/video quality, segment videos, create YouTube channels, upload videos, check transcriptions for accessibility, and on and on. Anyone who thinks this is a matter of ego hasn't actually done it. Or done it well.
Faculty to students: Late work will be not be accepted. Absolutely no excuses! Faculty to the college (and editors): Can we get an extension? We aren’t going to be able to make the original deadline. Thanks for your consideration!
Since you asked not to teach in-person, we can’t let you out of your in-person class. You clearly understand the risks. The only faculty we let out of teaching in-person classes are faculty who request in-person teaching. But, of course, they have to ask.
@cyclicdiamp@MissMicroglia@GrumpyJReviewer@thirdreviewer Ignore all the reviews. Resubmit to another journal with no changes the day after you get it. Do not ask the professor. It will take two weeks for them to put edits in that are meaningless. Don’t even format the works cited in the new journal al format. Literally no one cares.
