@mozabintnasser

I am afraid that z ongoing Khartoum war since 15 May, will be considered a forgotten war, as the media will move to cover an other war else where

Posting this cause Sharhabeel is a Sudanese icon. I miss my hometown like I never thought was possible & his words brought back in a mad rush all the things, the people & places that made Khartoum. Our city had many many faults but it was ours. gqmiddleeast.com/culture/sharha…

"#Sudan: Sanctions on Burhan and Hemeti, imposed by the #US and perhaps followed by the #EU have come too late to make a decisive difference if the main regional players in the conflict continue to support their pseudo-proxies. #Egypt backs Burhan, who leads the Sudan Armed Forces, while #UAE supports Hemeti, leading the Rapid Support Forces. Both countries don't want an escalation of the crisis into a regional conflict, but they are determined for their generals to prevail. Unless they join international efforts and put heavy pressure on the combatants, it’s difficult to see either side agreeing to pause the devastating hostilities. (From Africa Report)
