@Top100Rick A few weeks ago I hit a great iron from 125 yards out - landed right on the green. I get up there - ball is gone. I’m looking all around trying to figure out where my ball could have gone. Then I look up and - I swear this is true - I see a bird flying with my ball in its beak!

Anyone play “gallery rules” when it comes to lost balls? Basically, if you lose a ball you know you should find, you get a free drop. Because if you had a gallery, you’d find it. A friend sent me this pic from the Scottish Open and we laughed about it. Imagine having 20 people to help you find a ball. (Note: they didn’t find it 😂) I don’t do gallery rules, obviously, though in the past I’ve given free drops in the fall when the ball is obviously just under leaves. But the leaf rule is another subject!

The Jewish students of Columbia have come together and written their earnest plea for a safer campus. They do not ask for support for Palestinians to end or for all criticism of Israel to be quieted. What they want, and what we should all want, is simply an end to the dehumanization of Jews and Israelis that's happening in Columbia. I'm incredibly proud of them for coming forward to demand an end to the harassment on campus, especially when it's so much easier to put your head down and stay quiet.

Times Up was established to much fan fare in 2018. It was created (ostensibly) to provide legal support to women sexually harassed in the workplace, primarily low-income women. It received much fanfare amongst the Hollywood set but soon fell from grace in 2021, when it was disclosed that the leader, Tina Tchen, had connections to then Governor of NY Andrew Cuomo, and instructed the organization not to release a statement in support of his initial sexual assault/harassment accuser. The organization -- and the movement -- revealed itself to be a lackey for the Democratic Party. Not supporters of women, as they claim. Which women's organization stood with UPenn swimmer @PaulaYScanlan when she testified before Congress, that as a survivor of sexual assault, she felt unsafe in the locker room with a naked biological man? When she was bullied by her university and told to seek psychological counseling to get comfortable with it? We are seeing the rot and dishonesty at the heart of this movement unfold in real time as @UNWomenWatch fails to make a forceful statement condemning the rape and assault of Israeli women by Hamas. What, if any, organization truly stands in support of women? I supported this movement. I was part of it. I spoke out about sexual assault of athletes. I made a documentary film called Athlete A about it all. I still support the stated intentions. But I don't think any organization really does. It's all just words. They don't support women. They support the political agenda of the Left. If that means forsaking women, so be it.

BUT, if it comes out that he lied about contracting COVID in December, he should be banned from tennis for life and Australia should prosecute him for perjury.

To all the people like @andyroddick and @BenRothenberg saying that Djokovic has to accept the consequences of not being vaccinated, that’s exactly what he did. He knew he could only go if he got an exemption. He was granted an exemption which is the only reason he ever traveled.

@JaredPineTennis @andyroddick @BenRothenberg You all should read the actual appeal document filed by Djok (and posted by @BenRothenberg) before you judge. It seems clear that Djok was justified in believing he could enter the country and that it’s the Aussies who changed their mind. (1 of 2)

@Martina @bronwenSings @andy_murray Wouldn’t it be easier to just have something like “half time” between sets 1 and 2? Make it 10 minutes, allow a chat with the coach, quick change, bathroom break, etc. and then a 3 minute warmup to start up again. It makes it completely predictable and fair to both players.

@bronwenSings @andy_murray Beats the heck out of sitting there and having no idea when the opponent will return- the person taking the bathroom break has all the control… so why not?

How about this: When an opponent takes more than 3 mins for an injury or bathroom break, the player waiting gets a hitting partner for the duration... or a coaching visit... for the duration. #FairsFair What do think? @Martina @andy_murray

@andyroddick Andy - I’ve been a fan of yours for a long time and remember that match very well. I thought about it during last year’s US Open final... Could Osaka have refused the game penalty against Serena? I’m not suggesting she was obligated to do so, but do the rules permit it?
