@amazehayes_ Tate over Tyson isn't egregious. Top-4! Draft capital is great.
I've seen Lemon over Tyson twice. That's egregious!

@notcapnamerica @SenWhitehouse @Riley_Gaines_ @SenatorSlotkin Guess what? If transgenders get free transition surgeries then babies should be delivered for free.
English

Hi Riley!
Democrat @SenWhitehouse recently introduced a bill that would create a federal public insurance option that would not only reduce your out-of-pocket cost, but also simplify the billing process. Instead of being obsessed with transgender people perhaps write a letter to your congressman on topics that actually matter?

@sergeantquacks @Y0stwiththeMost not really, most of them have a draw 1 + effect

@StevePalazzolo_ @SigmundBloom They'll tell us in ten years when the player is an all-pro or ignore entirely if he sucks.
English

@Michell77625591 @BrentTerhune Dw last time they faked a shooting they only took out one guy
English

@BrentTerhune When a person can make fun of or laugh at the fact that people could’ve been killed, surely shows their demonic spirits.
English

@sergeantquacks @AustinAbbott Yeah. Like when they drafted Kupp in the 3rd or puka in the 5th. They have an idea of what they want and never drafted Wr in the 1st.

The craziest part regarding the Rams selecting Ty Simpson:
If EVERYTHING goes as planned this season - your 13th overall pick will not play a single snap. Meanwhile you have Matthew Stafford (2025 MVP) and an open SB window still..
“He is going to compete with Stetson” is truly such an outrageous comment
I wholeheartedly understand and can appreciate having to “earn your stripes” as a rookie but you simply do not select a QB 13th overall just for him to compete for the QB2 role
Les Snead has made a lot of wise decisions in recent memory but there’s clearly a real disconnect between him and Sean McVay on that selection
The remaining options at 13 were also phenomenal:
- Rueben Bain Jr. (Edge)
- Olaivavega Ioane (G)
- Makai Lemon (WR)
- Kenyon Sadiq (TE)
You need to push all the chips in here, draft an instant contributor, put the best product on the field as possible and go pursue a 2nd SB ring with Matthew Stafford
Pure malpractice

I don’t think Sean McVay is thrilled with the Ty Simpson pick 🫣 (h/t @benboomjamin)

@joshuaperry22 @AustinAbbott True I forgot you can just select a player that is worse in a later round
English

@sergeantquacks @AustinAbbott You can get WR3 in the 2nd/3rd round. Sadiq isn’t a guarantee to crack the TE Rotation and offers no position value at no. 13 unless it’s a guy like bowers. No one had that grade on him.
English

@joshuaperry22 @AustinAbbott The rams went heavy TE bc they have no wr3 and nobody in line for Adams' departure
And if you think they stay TE heavy; Sadiq was there
Either way dumb comment
English

@AustinAbbott Instant contributor. Then lists 4 guys who would also be backups on the rams. Which is why they went QB.
English

@LateRoundQB It's Price, but appreciate the ball-knowers offering the discount.

@RobSandIA Rob’s own words. “To make their own decisions unless state law said otherwise”
Activism at the local level gave us boys in girls sports, mask mandates, transgender confusion taught in schools.
And Rob wonders why so many state laws are being passed ? Rob is a liberal.
English

Iowa used to be a "home-rule" state — we allowed local governments to make their own decisions unless state law said otherwise. But over the past decade, one-party control has led to more than 70 laws limiting what cities, counties, and schools can do — even when voters support those actions. I believe decisions are best made closest to the people they impact. It’s time to return to that.

@adgirlMM @MeidasTouch Democrats wrote the book on gerrymandering…they are better at it by a long stretch. When it comes to to lying, stealing, and cheating nobody beats the Democrats. If you don’t believe me then sign up your kid at Learing center in Minneapolis or send Gramps to a hospice in LA.

BREAKING: A Republican-appointed Virginia judge has struck down the Democratic-backed redistricting amendment in full, ruling it unconstitutional and “void from the start.”
All votes from the April 21 special election are now invalid, and the state is permanently blocked from using or implementing the new maps.
AG Jay Jones says he will immediately file an appeal.

English

@amUsed2xX @ArgueSometimes @trouble_man90 Yeah dawg this is consistent with republican fuckery. You're so right
English

@ArgueSometimes @sergeantquacks @trouble_man90 Here’s a partisan hack who excuses gerrymandering as long as his side does it. Time for consistency
English

@amUsed2xX @trouble_man90 Because dems literally said "don't mess with texas and we won't mess with Virginia"
Maga asked for this, 100%
English

@trouble_man90 How is this different than Democrats pearl-clutching over Texas, then celebrating the same shit in Virginia? All Democrats have to do is be better than MAGA—instead they copy them at every turn.

English

@chrisfromstpete @AdamKinzinger Yeah yeah dems should keep lying down for maga, excellent take
English

@AdamKinzinger Bad take. You can't do something just to counter what someone else did. If principles first meant doing what is right even when it's not popular then gerrymandering is wrong no matter what anyone else did.
English

I was gerrymandered twice. So I'm not pretending Democrats have clean hands here.
But Trump ordered Texas to redraw its maps mid-cycle — not because the census required it, but because they know they can't win a fair fight in 2026.
Virginia votes tomorrow. Matching the GOP isn't enough — the response has to exceed the provocation, or this becomes the new normal every cycle. (link in reply)
