🇵🇹 Carta aberta ao Governo de Portugal @LMontenegroPSD @Leitao_Amaro @miguelluz Senhor Primeiro-Ministro Luís Montenegro, Senhor Ministro António Leitão Amaro, Senhor Ministro Miguel Pinto Luz, Escrevo como alguém que escolheu Portugal para viver. Tenho um pedido simples: tragam o Tesla FSD (Supervised) para Portugal. A 10 de abril, os Países Baixos foram o primeiro país europeu a aprovar o sistema, depois de 18 meses de testes independentes da autoridade RDW. Em dois meses, a Lituânia, a Estónia, a Dinamarca e a Bélgica seguiram o exemplo. Nenhum destes países repetiu os testes. Reconheceram a homologação neerlandesa ao abrigo do quadro europeu (UN R-171) e aprovaram com base nos dados que já existem. Os resultados falam por si: nos Países Baixos, cerca de 40.000 Teslas já percorreram 24 milhões de quilómetros sem incidentes relevantes, segundo a própria RDW. Os carros com FSD registaram 3,5 vezes menos colisões do que a condução manual. E é aqui que isto deixa de ser sobre tecnologia e passa a ser sobre vidas. Só este ano já morreram mais de 220 pessoas nas estradas portuguesas, mais 25% do que no ano passado. Portugal está acima da média europeia na mortalidade rodoviária. A ANSR diz que as principais causas são humanas: velocidade, álcool, distração. Um sistema que nunca se distrai, nunca bebe e nunca adormece evita mortes que vão acontecer com condutores humanos. O próprio Governo chamou à sinistralidade uma chaga social. Esta é uma forma concreta de a combater. Portugal pode fazer o mesmo que a Dinamarca e a Bélgica: o IMT analisa o dossier da RDW e aprova. Não custa nada ao Estado e coloca Portugal à frente da Alemanha, da França e da Espanha. Há 500 anos, Portugal liderou o mundo numa nova tecnologia: a navegação. Partiu à frente de todos e deu novos mundos ao mundo. Portugal pode voltar a estar na fronteira de uma nova tecnologia e liderar como fez há 500 anos. Cada mês de espera custa vidas. Basta decidir. 🚨 The EU Commission posted: “Smarter cars mean safer roads.” Starting July 7, all new EU cars must have advanced emergency braking for pedestrians/cyclists, driver distraction warnings, etc. Yet after 18+ months of rigorous testing, Tesla FSD (Supervised), already approved in the Netherlands with real-world data showing it 3.5x safer than manual driving there (0 highway crashes in 16M+ km), is still not fully approved EU-wide. 5 countries have it via mutual recognition. The big ones are dragging their feet. If you truly want safer roads, approve proven AI that reduces human error instead of just mandating yesterday’s tech. Bureaucracy shouldn’t cost lives. @alojoh I’m one of the little guys, and I wholeheartedly agree with this tweet. After 5y of investing in Tesla, I sold 50% of my portfolio in Oct 2025. This decision was made after I started using my brain. I also unfollowed approximately 70% of Tesla influencers. I have no regrets.

I think I have answered this a dozen times, but sigh, here we go again: 1) Everything positive about Elon and Tesla is already amplified 100x by a truly countless number of Elon and Tesla pumper accounts. Why? Because it is by far the easiest way to grow an audience on X. The occasional Elon like, repost, or comment provides an enormous boost. A single interaction can be worth several thousand followers, even for a relatively small account. 2) That grotesque overamplification does not need my help. Every positive development is already covered, repeated, exaggerated, and recycled into oblivion. 3) Meanwhile, most Tesla bears are mor*ns and every bit as intellectually dishonest, emotional, and tribal as the pure Elon and Tesla pumper accounts. I have no interest in joining either cult. 4) What remains largely underdiscussed are the real problems: the dramatically missed deadlines, the abandoned promises, the constantly shifting timelines and goalpost moving, and the growing gap between what is predicted and what is actually delivered. The gap between reality and execution. Merely mentioning any of this is immediately branded as “negativity,” which conveniently removes virtually all accountability from Elon and Tesla. He gets to make ever more ludicrous predictions with almost no serious scrutiny. Just go back to any of Tesla investors day and listen to the typically overconfident Elon and all the promises and predictions he made. You'll realise that over 90% never happened and 99% never happened as it was sold on this platform by proxies, of which there are thousands. That's why I call it the greatest marketing machine that was ever built. Also, covering the genuine strengths of Chinese companies is not "being an emotional fan of China". That's stupid. It is acknowledging competitive reality. Pretending Chinese companies have no strengths because that makes Tesla fans uncomfortable would not be analysis. It would be propaganda. There is already too much of that on this platform. I won't add to that. And I might as well answer the other common and equally stupid question: "Why does AJ care?" I care because this grotesque pumping, which is getting worse and worse, has left countless little guys without returns. I have been an investor for virtually my entire life. I started investing in equities as a teenager. I was once one of those little guys, and I believe the little guy deserves a chance too. Making them mentally trapped for years in one stock with no returns is wrong let alone the enormous constant one man risk. This permanent brainwashing echo chamber makes it really f*cking hard for ordinary people to separate reality from promotion. They are surrounded by accounts that have a direct incentive to keep feeding them fantasies, because pumping Elon and Tesla is one of the easiest ways to gain followers, attention, and engagement. When seemingly no one gives a f*ck about these people, I do. That is why I speak up, even though my account has kept shrinking ever since I started sharing inconvenient truths about Tesla and Elon. The bad actors have every incentive to suppress criticism and keep people trapped inside the echo chamber. F*ck them. The peak hypocrisy is demanding endless praise for Elon and Tesla while calling any recognition of Chinese companies "emotional fandom." Apparently relentless Tesla promotion is objective analysis, but acknowledging competitors, missed deadlines, or broken promises is bias. Give me a break. x.com/DviVJR/status/…
