POV - you collect your crosscountry tickets from the machine (split ticketing saved you 5p)

@BeeNetwork do you give your bus drivers any training about tickets? Whenever I get on with a wayfarer they go “I don’t know what that is” “that’s a train ticket”. And whenever I ask for a bee any bus ticket they sell me a bee bus ticket. Despite the name there is a difference.

So after several years of using @RailMiles to log my railway journeys, I won’t be using them anymore

@HCH_Hill @UKPoliticsLive With a Network Railcard, the £13.00 minimum fare applies at all times, not just peak. For other railcards, the minimum fare just applies at peak. Some railcards don’t even have a minimum fare.

@mark395625 Haven’t heard anyone shouting about self driving trains in the past 24 hours. If that were a self driving train, it would’ve just kept on driving to London like nothing was going on - then there’d be hundreds injured

I see those that are anti rail staff are suddenly very quiet.. realised the railway does actually need staff eh? Its wombats like this that cause all the issues.

@trainfanmatt @AvantiWestCoast They used to but staff never bothered turning it on, or they didn't have enough staff in the shop for it. So Avanti just axed it.

I can't help but feel that the @AvantiWestCoast Standard Premium service should offer at seat delivery from the shop! It's a nice upgrade but you have to walk the length of the train to get food & drink 😱 1st = at seat kitchen service SP = at seat delivery from shop

@northernassist Hi. Please can you let me know what is going on with the 18:56 train from Chester, he is travelling to Northwich. My brother is meant to be getting this train. He told me that they changed the platform at the last second and everyone missed the train.

Because everyone missed the train, the train then came back to pick them up. I have checked JourneyCheck.com and there are no updates for this train, and RealTimeTrains just says it hasn’t left Chester yet.

@BeeNetwork I have not used this route after it transferred to the Bee Network, and Stagecoach never had an issue with us using the bus stop on Argosy Drive. Please can you pass my feedback on and try to see why this is the case, and get this rule to be reverted back to how it was before?

@BeeNetwork Bus 313 Why are you no longer allowed to board the bus using the bus stop on Argosy Drive? I tried to get on today and the driver told me that it was now a drop off only stop, and in the future we will need to get on using the bus stop on Viscount Drive instead.

i got a 30 minute train ride from berlin airport to berlin city centre last week - it cost me £3.70. the 25 minute train journey from clapham junction to gatwick airport cost me £20. we are being absolutely robbed

Today we completed Aberzance on @CrossCountryUK 👀 774 miles in standard class from 08:20 to 21:31. We had 8 drivers, 6 train managers and 3 catering teams who where all fantastic 😁 Cheers to Alan, Claire and Kimberley and the final TM for the food and laughs #LongestTrain
