Anyone want free snow?? Because we have plenty!! 🤣❄️ According to @UCB_CSSL , we have received approximately 16 feet of snow the last two weeks!! 😳 But it’s not over yet as we are expecting more snow starting tonight through the weekend.

Highway 50 is now CLOSED to all traffic EB in Pollock Pines and WB in Meyers ⁦@CountyElDorado⁩ due to avalanche control work at Echo Summit and multiple spinouts. Winds are picking up and visibility is poor. No ETO.

We will see light snow over the mountains into the overnight tonight with heavy mountain snow expected Wednesday and Thursday. #CAwx

Rain totals as of 1pm: Mt Tam 3.52", Scott Creek/SC Mtns 2.60" ... should see an additional 2-5 inches for the mountains tomorrow morning (HRRR model) w/ locally higher amounts possible. Strong ARs tend to outperform re: mtn rain totals. #CAwx 12/30/2022
