We know you've heard of a volcano...but how about a volnado?
This afternoon, during episode 32 fountaining at Kīlauea the V3 live camera (ow.ly/tSiq50WPZKv) caught this whirlwind kicking up loose ash deposits along the active fountain and flow within Halemaʻumaʻu crater.

Episode 28 of the ongoing Kīlauea summit eruption is over after 9 hours of continuous lava fountaining. The south vent did not appear to activate at all during this episode and has been completely covered by new deposits. Lava fountains reached approximately 1200 ft (365 m).
In-N-Out expanding further east is becoming highly more likely. The company mandates that all restaurants be within a 300-mile radius of a warehouse to ensure fresh, high-quality ingredients. With a new headquarters planned in Tennessee, this strategic move could pave the way for further eastward growth, potentially enabling new distribution centers to serve the region.

An FAA equipment malfunction caused a significant disruption at Newark Liberty Airport this afternoon, shutting down all flight operations. As the FAA fully restores its ability to manage air traffic control at Newark, we expect cancellations and delays for the rest of the day.
