there's something truly sublime about cluely being scammed on their SOC 2
Ryan@ohryansbelt

Delve, a YC-backed compliance startup that raised $32 million, has been accused of systematically faking SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance reports for hundreds of clients. According to a detailed Substack investigation by DeepDelver, a leaked Google spreadsheet containing links to hundreds of confidential draft audit reports revealed that Delve generates auditor conclusions before any auditor reviews evidence, uses the same template across 99.8% of reports, and relies on Indian certification mills operating through empty US shells instead of the "US-based CPA firms" they advertise. Here's the breakdown: > 493 out of 494 leaked SOC 2 reports allegedly contain identical boilerplate text, including the same grammatical errors and nonsensical sentences, with only a company name, logo, org chart, and signature swapped in > Auditor conclusions and test procedures are reportedly pre-written in draft reports before clients even provide their company description, which would violate AICPA independence rules requiring auditors to independently design tests and form conclusions > All 259 Type II reports claim zero security incidents, zero personnel changes, zero customer terminations, and zero cyber incidents during the observation period, with identical "unable to test" conclusions across every client > Delve's "US-based auditors" are actually Accorp and Gradient, described as Indian certification mills operating through US shell entities. 99%+ of clients reportedly went through one of these two firms over the past 6 months > The platform allegedly publishes fully populated trust pages claiming vulnerability scanning, pentesting, and data recovery simulations before any compliance work has been done > Delve pre-fabricates board meeting minutes, risk assessments, security incident simulations, and employee evidence that clients can adopt with a single click, according to the author > Most "integrations" are just containers for manual screenshots with no actual API connections. The author describes the platform as a "SOC 2 template pack with a thin SaaS wrapper" > When the leak was exposed, CEO Karun Kaushik emailed clients calling the allegations "falsified claims" from an "AI-generated email" and stated no sensitive data was accessed, while the reports themselves contained private signatures and confidential architecture diagrams > Companies relying on these reports could face criminal liability under HIPAA and fines up to 4% of global revenue under GDPR for compliance violations they believed were resolved > When clients threaten to leave, Delve reportedly pairs them with an external vCISO for manual off-platform work, which the author argues proves their own platform can't deliver real compliance > Delve's sales price dropped from $15,000 to $6,000 with ISO 27001 and a penetration test thrown in when a client mentioned considering a competitor

@TopDriverIndia @aakashgupta This this artificial system of jobs and PTO and targets and screen is any day better than the alternative we had which was poverty and hard labour for 90% of the pop. I have lived in poverty and I have lived in money and I will choose money (which I get via screen staring)

@aakashgupta Buddy, I think you missed the whole point of that post. what they’re trying to say is we as humans have built ourselves this artificial system of jobs and PTO and targets and salaries, which is unnatural. Think outside the box

That road is Route 1 in Iceland. A week driving it costs roughly $2,500 per person. Flights from the US run $500-600 round trip. Gas is $8-9 per gallon. A glacier hike is $125. A night in a decent hotel near Vatnajökull is $160-200. Total tab for two people to spend a week staring at that glacier instead of a monitor: somewhere around $7,000. The median American household earns that in about 18 working days. Sitting in a room. Staring at a screen. The people who actually drive that road on a random Tuesday in March fall into two categories: retirees who stared at screens for 40 years and saved enough to stop, or remote workers who figured out how to stare at a screen from Reykjavik instead of a cubicle in Ohio. Both paths run through the screen. The photo is real. The freedom it represents costs $7,000 and 10 days of PTO. The device you’re reading this complaint on is the same device that books the flight.

the world looks like this and we’re expected to sit in a room for 8 hours a day staring at a screen

The pride with which she says "pre Hindutva India". Gopal was born in 1968, her father a high ranking diplomat served under the "non Hindutva" Indira Gandhi including during the emergency. When Sanjay Gandhi ran the largest forced mass sterilization program in human history. She must have been 14-15 when the "non Hindutva" govt of Rajiv Gandhi pogromed and genocided 5,000+ Sikhs. Her father continued to serve the family loyally. I wonder Ms Gopal if you have ever disowned your father for serving the two most violent PM's independent India has had? By body count they absolutely mog everyone else. She graduated from DU in 1989 In 1989 we had the peaceful Bhagalpur riots that killed 1000+, in 1990 in this peaceful utopian India Pandits were raped and cleansed. In 1991 she did her masters. 91 saw multiple small riots that killed 2,000. 92 saw the Bombay riots. By then she left on the basis of her fathers comprador background to the US. And she lectures us on "hindutva". You Ms Gopal are a cancerous low iq cretin. No more, no less

In our society in Greater Noida they have removed guards for individual towers and electrician, gardener, plumber and carpenter have stopped giving their service because hardly anyone is paying monthly maintenance dues Because of the guard shortage, Blinkit and Food delivery is now not allowed post midnight Bachelors and working couple raised the complain about this, One Uncle who is a defaulter himself, said "Bacche Ghar ka khana khai, bahar se kyu mangwana' One Uncle hasn't paid since 2011 for his two locked flats - Total amount due is 25 Lakhs If you are a tenant or a buyer looking for flat in so called Luxury societies, always check the maintainence situation of the society - are existing residents paying the dues Some societies are run fantastically, but many "dream projects" have turned into nightmare

This post is for Indian parents. And for future Indian parents. Stop building houses for your son and daughter. You are solving the wrong problem. Stop spending your entire life savings building a ‘family home’ thinking your children will return and live there one day. It sounds emotional. But the reality is very different. I realized this when I recently visited my Nana ji’s house. That house was built with decades of savings. A lot of sacrifices. The intention was simple - Build a home for the next generation. Just like most Indian families do. They studied well. Built careers. Moved to bigger cities. One even moved to the US. Life upgraded for them. Opportunities pulled them elsewhere. And slowly the house that once held dreams now sits quietly with no one to light a lamp in the evening. Locked. Almost abandoned. Indian parents are solving the wrong problem. You want your son and daughter to grow, earn more, live bigger. But at the same time you expect them to live in the same house you built 30 years ago. That expectation is a contradiction. If your son or daughter earns 10x more than you, their lifestyle will also change. Their city may change. Their home will change. Their world will change. They are not going to live in the same house. Every 15-20 years homes become outdated and people move to new spaces that fit their life. So the house built with your entire life savings becomes irrelevant. Invest in their education. Invest in their freedom. Keep your money liquid. Use it to improve your own life. But please stop sacrificing your entire life to build a house for them.

The muted coverage by a large section of the Indian media on the NIA arrests is a bit baffling. This is arguably the biggest story right now. It’s not often that CIA operatives are arrested so publicly. What gives?

Every year in Yelahanka, Bengaluru, a mother and father quietly stand beside a road that bears their son’s name... Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan Road. For the country, it is a tribute. For K. Unnikrishnan and Dhanalakshmi, it is a place to remember the child they raised. Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan was one of the brave commandos of the National Security Guard who laid down his life during the 2008 Mumbai attacks while rescuing civilians at the Taj Hotel. In the middle of that night of terror, he reportedly told his team: “Do not come up, I will handle them.” He fought the terrorists so others could live. For India, he became a symbol of courage, duty, and sacrifice. But for his parents, the pride of a hero comes with the pain of losing a son. On his birth anniversary, they still come to pay their respects... quietly, with folded hands, carrying memories only parents can understand. The nation stands proud of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. And it remains forever indebted to him and to the parents who gave their son in service of the country. Because the freedom and safety we live with today were secured by sacrifices like his. #SandeepUnnikrishnan #Terrorism #TerrorAttack
