@peteonlife @ProfStrachan Not true Pete. Community energy socs can only pay out minimum interest required to get the capital they need. They don't distribute profits to investors, unlike capitalist enterprises. Lots of them distribute large community funds. All accounts available mutuals.fca.org.uk

So it seems a publicly available library of wind turbine feasibility studies (regardless of ultimate success or failure) would be a great resource to help ground communities in the various levels of detail involved in these projects. Anyone know of such a library?

So today I've added a community energy tracker. Data courtesy of @RdgHydro, @OctopusEnergy & @energylocal. This tracks Wind, Hydro, PV & A/D (should @energylocal give their blessing) and can be viewed here: terravolt.co.uk/community-ener… Any other sources like this greatly received!
