It's my first time partnering with Indians and I genuinely admire how quickly they execute and implement ideas. We brainstorm ideas today and before long they have already brought them to life. Special acknowledgement to my business partners @chirag_s93 and @sheema121 for their dedication to @EncapKenya. Thank you for your contributions. One day when I write a book, there will definitely be a chapter dedicated to the Indian business community 💯

“That is why we have set up a state department tasked with investment promotion,” noted the President. The President said the government will push for facilitative and protective policies to encourage more Kenyans to invest through the stock exchange.

Interesting things to note: 1. How much of City Park has been grabbed. 2. Rose Avenue was a 'straight road' from Ngong Rd to Dennis Pritt (?who owned Kwality?) 3. The road that went through a certain school was called Blackrock Avenue. 4. Uhuru Park didn't exist

Came across an old map of Nairobi. I guess it’s from the colonial era, there is land marked as Kikuyu Native Land Unit, Kibera is Native settlement area. All marked roads connect. @ConstantCap @danaceda @shecyclesnbi @KResearcher @dnahinga any idea which year this map was drawn?

This afternoon, it was established that the developer, Senghani Interior Limited was proceeding with the construction notwithstanding prior service of the appeal. This is a matter that should concern NEMA and NMS which has usurped the role of County Government of Nairobi. ^DoS

The area is Zone 5, limited to development of single-dwelling residential premises and the construction is manifestly unauthorized. Further, the project contravenes the user of the area, and is undertaken without change of user and an EIA Study, another violation of the law. ^DoS

Kyuna Neigbours Association in Kitusuru Ward, Westlands Constituency has appealed against the decision by NEMA to authorize construction of a school by Montesori Learning Centre along Kyuna/Shanzu Road. The appeal automatically acts as an order stopping further construction. ^DoS

In their 2019 audited financial reports, KPLC says it paid Sh47.4B to KENGEN; but KENGEN says it received Sh46.0B from KPLC. What happened to Sh1.4B? It left KPLC headed to KENGEN, but it never arrived! [Both are audited by PWC on behalf of OAG.]

Kenya has one problem & one problem only...PARLIAMENT. Look at how we are taxed. Look at how our money is spent(beach volley ball in mombasa). Look at the laws they pass. Look at the bribes they take to defeat the sugar report.Look at the lack of quorum. PARLIAMENT is THE problem
