Canada has introduced a new rule for major streaming companies like Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and Spotify. The new law requires streaming companies earning more than 25 million dollars annually in Canada to spend 15% of their Canadian revenue on Canadian and Indigenous movies, TV shows, music, and news. They can produce new Canadian content or contribute to special Canadian media funds. Previously the requirement was only 5%, so the new amount is much larger. The government believes this could generate more than 2 billion dollars yearly to support Canadian programs and French-language shows. At the same time, traditional TV and radio stations will face lighter rules to keep the system fair.

Xbox has reportedly canceled its planned Game Pass Family Plan. The subscription would have allowed up to four users to share access to the full Game Pass library at a discounted rate. It was tested in countries including Ireland and Colombia but was ultimately dropped after EA strongly opposed the shared library concept and its impact on game sales.

Let me be real... I don't think HouseMarque can survive as a PlayStation exclusive studio... Returnal and SAROS (based on tracking) haven't been huge sellers. I can see them going the way of Bluepoint in a few years :(

It’s been up for 22 hours. It’s crazy numbers for something that just started up. Many people don’t know about it but it’s clear exclusives matter. I mean you have Ponies going wild over it and scared to death over not getting Forza Horizon 6. More people voted than player Saros according to their logic.

@KhalidWarsa @UniDaSensei what? That simply isn't true, I never buy micro transactions and great games are dropping all the time. I just went from hundreds of hours in Crimson desert to Forza Horizon 6, two great games of the many already dropped this year.

This is the best time to quit gaming. -consoles are expensive -they require subscriptions -games are expensive -micro transactions everywhere -no more good games Just get a gym subscription and work on yourself. Call your parents, hang out with friends, and enjoy life.

Unbelievable - xbox exclusives hits 8K voted , over 1 k comments, and a 2K lead over nearest vote getter Backward Compatibility. Absolutely huge outcry in the first 24 hours. As many have said in over 1,000 comments that the competition will swoop up all the games if you put your games on its platform. Proud of the gumption of Xbox fans. I feel like the voice of the gamer of Xbox is truly spoken for. The voice put the words that Xbox is using like your voice matters on display for them to either listen or just be lip service. I feel as a core OG gamer my stand for this is answered. Like I said 2 months ago. The standoff will be at June 7th. We get our answers.
