Worrying maternity stats quietly released by @swanseabaynhs over Xmas. Breakdown of open incidents shows 245 incidents have no severity level attached to them. 39 are moderate or above with 9 catastrophic/death. 245 uncategorised highlights they have no clue safety/learning #nhs

@WGHealthandCare must be investigated for their part (or lack of) in the maternity crisis across Wales. Bullying, coercion, negligence and cover ups are rife across health boards, but no overarching body has paid attention and investigated. There. Temperature check sorted

When @WGHealthandCare announce Chair of ‘Maternity temperature check’ this week it will be under a cloud The decision makers (@CNOWales + NHS Performance & Improvement) missed warning signs in @SwanseabayNHS and didn’t listen in 2022 They excluded themselves from being assessed

@wesstreeting @SwanseabayNHS Furious that all these NHS Wales bodies who did and said nothing for years are not included in the review. Babies and mothers died because they didn’t stand up and do anything.

My 2019hospital notes tell a very different story to the reports produced by the solicitor’s so called experts.The obstetricians reports they obtained were poor, contradictory, and seemed designed to minimise delays rather than reflect the truth. Instead of fighting for justice👎
