@ANI Storage is the missing layer of India’s energy infrastructure. Without it, renewable capacity means very little at grid scale.

The winners will navigate the boring layer underneath, power tariffs, land titles, water permissions, transmission, state policy. The things nobody celebrates when they work. The things everybody notices when they fail. Full piece: linkedin.com/posts/siddhant…

India sits at ~1.3 GW of installed data centre capacity today, with 1,123 MW of IT load as of H1 2025. Another 2.9 GW expected by 2030. The @MinOfPower projects electricity demand from data centres at 13.56 GW by 2031-32. That is a national power-planning question.

Mumbai Metropolitan Region's growth has always been linked to big ideas backed by long-term planning. At the Navabharat Navarashtra Magnetic Maharashtra Conclave 2026, Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee, IAS, Metropolitan Commissioner, MMRDA, spoke about how MMRDA is now preparing for the region’s next phase. For this, MMRDA has developed India’s first Regional Economic Master Plan in collaboration with NITI Aayog. From expanding connectivity and improving quality of life to strengthening ports, airports, housing and economic opportunities, the vision is aimed at transforming the Mumbai Metropolitan Region from a $140 billion economy today into a $1.5 trillion economy by 2047. With the current wave of infrastructure projects nearing completion, MMRDA is now focused on shaping the long-term economic future of the region. #MMRDA #MumbaiInMinutes #MagneticMaharashtra #ReimaginingMMR #ReshapingMMR #FutureReadyMMR #RebootingMumbai #GrowthEngineOfIndia #InfrastructureForTomorrow #MMR2047 #ViksitMaharashtra @CMOMaharashtra @Dev_Fadnavis @mieknathshinde @DrSanMukherjee @MahaDGIPR @MMMOCL_Official @navarashtra

India’s next twenty years will be defined by platforms: A portfolio that compounds, not a pipeline that resets. Institutional capital that stays across cycles. A brand that lenders, regulators and partners recognise across decades.

Platforms compound. Projects reset. For decades, Indian infrastructure was built one project at a time. Win a tender. Build the asset. Hand it over. Move on. That model has limits. The next cycle rewards something different.

The companies that won the last infrastructure cycle may not automatically win the next one. The winners will hold both worlds at once, concrete and code, land and latency. Full piece: linkedin.com/posts/siddhant…

Airports. Logistics parks. Data centres. Fibre. EV corridors. Telecom towers. Renewable transmission. Digital public rails. AI compute. These are no longer separate stories. They are one national infrastructure stack.

Infrastructure is what life runs on. For most of my life, that meant roads, bridges, metros and power. The next India will still need all of that. But the definition is about to expand.
