Now we know why traffic discipline and law enforcement in MH has gone to the dogs.
When the CM & Dy CM proudly flaunt driving a vehicle without a license plate, the janta has zero inspiration to follow traffic rules.
Neither the leadership follows rules themselves, nor have any will to enforce.
Total lawlessness.

@sushmadate What about the burning of leaf litter, PMC folks who come to collect waste refuse to take leaf litter. I have personally seen PMC staff putting fire on waste to dispose of the litter.

He is right. We Indians just don't take responsibility for the garbage we generate. It's a deep rooted mindset that cleaning up our garbage is someone else's job, not ours.
I don't see this in any other country - not even the poorer ones like Sri Lanka, Vietnam or Thailand.
Garbage has nothing to do with poverty, and everything to do with the social structure of the country and the mindset of its people 😔

A final-year BCom student was assaulted in Thergaon on Tuesday night simply because he objected to dangerous scooter driving. The rider, instead of apologising, called his accomplices, and five men beat the student — one using a belt.
The student escaped in an autorickshaw and reached the Wakad Police Station, where he filed a complaint. Police later arrested two siblings involved in the attack, while the hunt for the remaining accused is underway.
Residents say rash driving in the area has become common, and this incident shows how raising a safety concern can turn violent. Police have assured strict action and appealed for public cooperation.
