The kind of baseless accusations and outright lies about Catholic practices like "worshipping Mary," "praying to idols," or the Church's supposed history of mass executions were exactly the sort of misinformation that first sparked my curiosity and drove me to dig right into the actual history and teachings of the early Church.
Romans Roadie Ron@PilgrimRon79

@TomorrowsWar Just curious then, C. What steps led you straight there. Worshipping Mary? Praying to saints who passed? Endless idols? Church history of executing thousands?

General Michael Flynn recites esoteric prayer word-for-word from occult prophetess Elizabeth Clare Prophet. Elizabeth Clare Prophet claimed to receive messages from Ascended Masters (Demons), thought to be spiritually evolved beings who had once lived on Earth and had undergone a process of spiritual transformation and ascension. These Ascended Masters were believed to guide humanity's spiritual evolution/awakening into the coming New Age. The prayer mentions the "Sevenfold Rays" which is a reference to the new age 'Seven Rays.' These rays represent different aspects of divine energy or consciousness in occult philosophy. These concepts are found within Theosophy, which is new age spiritual and philosophical movement founded by occultist Helena Petrovna Blavatsky. Blavatsky's substantial body of teachings illustrate the occult philosophies of the New age including the secret doctrine, unity of all religions, reincarnation, hierarchy of spiritual beings, esoteric science, ancient wisdom, and the seven rays. Interestingly enough, Michael Flynn has called for America to be under "one religion." Alice Bailey, who founded Lucis Trust (formerly Lucifer's Trust) coined the term 'new age' and spoke extensively about the seven rays, the ascended masters, and the coming spiritual awakening of humanity into the New Age. Bailey claimed to have received spiritual teachings from a Tibetan master (Demon) known as Djwhal Khul or The Tibetan. As you'll find, all of these occult teachers have received their information by channeling various entities claiming to be ascended masters. Those of us who are believers of Jesus Christ know that they are actually in communication with demonic entities and deceiving spirits. I don't think it's a coincidence that Flynn, who is a major promoter of the "Great Awakening" movement rivaling the Great Reset recited this prayer alongside various other questionable comments that he has made. Another interesting thing to note is that Alice Bailey and other occult teachers proposed that periods of crisis and upheaval on a global scale could serve as catalysts for significant spiritual awakening and transformation. Here are some key points related to Alice Bailey's views on world crisis and its effects on spiritual evolution: Global spiritual growth, purification and cleansing, shift in consciousness, emergence of new spiritual leadership, and building towards the new age. Bailey's teachings often referred to the idea of a coming "New Age" or "Age of Aquarius." She saw global crises as part of the process leading to the establishment of this new era characterized by increased spiritual awareness, cooperation, and a focus on the well-being of the entire planet. I believe this is the true beast kingdom, the age where humanity "expands their global consciousness" and becomes initiated into the religion of human divinity. Just like the lie of the serpent in the garden. Also interesting that Melania Trump would come out on stage after Trump won the 2016 election to the song "Age of Aquarius" playing. Is that a coincidence? I'll let you decide. I think it is important to highlight my concern that the Great Reset is a red herring that is leading humanity into fear, so that the new age can be ushered in, which will be the true beast kingdom. It's Hegelian dialectic that is transpiring over humanity on a spiritual level. Problem, Reaction, Solution. Satan and his angels have been creating a massive problem (Deep State Cabal/Great Reset/WEF) to invoke a reaction from humanity, being that they demand something be done about it. To which at that point Satan will offer the solution. What I'm suggesting is that Satan and his angels have launched their own false flag operation to execute an entirely different kind of war over the minds of mankind. When the blatanly evil black magic side is defeated, the white magic side will lead the world into the "expansion of the collective consciousness" promoted by the channeled entities and occult teachers. Humanity will believe the lie from the serpent in the garden, that they are gods; part of the collective godhood through consciousness. The masses will be patting themselves on the back in celebration, believing that they have defeated the beast kingdom, the New world order. At which point, many will say, "Where was Jesus? Shouldn't have He been back by now?" Through defeating "the beast" humanity will be indoctrinated into the belief that we are collectively Christ. When really, the beast actually destroyed the Harlot as it is written in Revelation 17:16. The Bible describes the harlot as a "dwelling place for demons." So when the Beast destroys the Harlot, many will be deceived into following the beast into perdition through becoming initiated into the mystery school teachings. Those of us who remain faithful to the testimony of Jesus Christ will be seen as holding humanity back from spiritual evolution because of our "archaic, outdated, debunked" beliefs. We will also be lumped in with the Harlot, and be accused of being apart of that same Satanic system. I believe this will be why the saints are persecuted. Because humanity will see the God of the Bible, Yahweh, as an evil, tyrannical lesser god responsible for the death and destruction of the old world. Likewise, they will see believers in the God of the Bible as working for Satan. I know this is a lot for people who are just now learning about this perspective, but i highly recommend praying on this and doing more research into the New age and how it ties into the true beast kingdom. I highly recommend the book, "The Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow: The New Age Movement and Our Coming Age of Barbarism" to learn more about the New age and it's ties to the true biblical beast kingdom. I also recommend reading more of my work, in which i talk about this extensively and provide ample resources to further analyze the nature of the coming deception. This is why spiritual discernment is required for the end times. It doesn't require the Holy Spirit to be anti-Great Reset. It does require the Holy Spirit to not fall into the clever schemes of the adversary, Satan and his angels. God bless you all.

Jesus never rebukes Mary. He simply clarifies WHY she is blessed. Not because of her body parts being in contact with Jesus, but because she PERFECTLY OBEYED.

@PabloLim7 @TomorrowsWar Well we see different there. Jesus himself rebukes (twice!) Mary being anymore special than any other follower. Does the Bible say she is to be venerated? If so where?

I’m not sure who needs to hear this, but Reformed Protestants do not believe that the Protestant Reformation was the start of the church. We trace our lineage back through the Protestant Reformation, through the Middle Ages, into the early church, into the Bible, and we own all of that. So Saint Patrick belongs to the Protestants, as does Augustine, John Chrysostom, and all the rest of the saints. The Protestant Reformation was not the start of a new church. It was an attempt to purify and reform the church and move it away from the abuses of the papacy and its money-hungry, power-hungry twisting of the faith that was delivered once for all to the saints.

(Hilaire Belloc, The Great Heresies)

@FightForMary @lovell_julius @MrCasey62 Agreed, and I do bring up Marian apparitions. They almost always have to claim that Marian apparitions are demons in disguise, which is utter nonsense. Demons never point people to Christ, or urge them to repent and pray. Demons never heal people without price, or prophesy.

SO ridiculously untrue. There’s a second Queen of Heaven “mentioned in the Bible”. Since Jesus is “mentioned in the Bible” as the eternal Davidic King in Heaven, & it’s “mentioned in the Bible” that Davidic Kings made their mothers Queen, then Mary HAS to be His Queen of Heaven.

@wild_branch @TomorrowsWar That is Queen Elizabeth, a Protestant queen. That is Sir Francis Drake, another Protestant, bowing to a Protestant Queen. So Protestants previously all understood that bowing to a person out of respect, by itself, is not worship, but rather honor, esteem, and veneration.

@PabloLim7 @lovell_julius @MrCasey62 "The Hebrew word for "mother" can also mean "grandmother," which explains the apparent contradiction in the texts." Even if Maacah was Asa's grandmother, how would that throw the rule into question? In either case, the king gives a kinswoman by blood the title of Gebirah.

@lovell_julius @MrCasey62 It is speculation that Maacah was Asa’s grandmother. However, even if she were grandmother, if Asa’s mother were alive, she’d be Queen Mother. We don’t know what happened to his mother. what happened to David’s mother?

Few doctrines unite the historic Christian church more clearly than this: Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. Protestants, Roman Catholics, and Eastern Orthodox alike affirm this confession because it lies at the very center of the gospel. Yet most Christians struggle to explain why it matters. In my latest Substack article, I explore the biblical foundation for Christ’s full deity and full humanity, how the early church wrestled with this mystery, and why the Council of Chalcedon (AD 451) remains one of the most important guardrails in Christian theology. The early church eventually articulated the truth this way: Jesus Christ is one person in two natures — fully God and fully man. Theologians call this the Hypostatic Union. This doctrine is not an abstract theological puzzle. It protects the very logic of redemption. If Christ were not truly God, he could not save. If he were not truly human, he could not represent us. This is the heart of the doctrine of the Atonement. For nearly two millennia, this confession has stood at the heart of historic Christianity. In this article I walk through: —The biblical evidence for Christ’s divinity and humanity; —The early church debates that clarified the doctrine; —The Christological errors the church had to confront; —Why the Chalcedonian definition still matters today. For anyone interested in Scripture, church history, and the foundations of Christian belief, I hope you find this article helpful. It’s amazing how protestants refuse to quote verse 6 of 1 Timothy. 1 Timothy 2:5–6 is explicit: “There is one God, and one mediator (εἷς μεσίτης, heis mesitēs) between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom (ἀντίλυτρον, antilytron) for all.” The noun mesitēs (one who mediates between two parties to remove a disagreement or reach a goal) here refers to Christ’s unique, salvific role. He alone reconciles man to God by His self-offering. Yet the same word is used elsewhere for men. Galatians 3:19 speaks of the Law being given “through angels by the hand of a mediator (μεσίτου, mesitou),” clearly referring to Moses. Jewish tradition often called Moses a mesitēs of the covenant. Scripture itself distinguishes between Christ’s absolute mediation of redemption and Moses’ derivative mediation of the Law. Hebrews 6:17 uses the related verb ἐμεσίτευσεν (emesiteusen), “God guaranteed it with an oath.” Here mesiteuō means “to mediate, act as surety, guarantee”, describing God Himself as guarantor of His promise. This shows the word group is flexible: it can mean guarantee, intercession, or covenantal mediation depending on context. Christ is the sole Mediator of salvation, because only He gives Himself as ransom. Others, like Moses, are mediators in a subordinate sense, either of the Law or by intercession. Holy Scripture never denies these secondary mediators. It only affirms that salvation itself comes through Christ alone.
