So yesterday was the final day of the @hedinghambuses & Chambers brands after 104 & 148 years respectively as they two fall under the @konectbuses brand. We spent the last two Saturdays on the entire network, from Witham to Clacton, Tollesbury & Lavenham!

@bo66ie29 @MarcMorganHuws Driven buses over that bridge many a time before the high street was pedestrianised. This footage taken before the Caters tower block was built. My parents meet whilst working at Caters back in the late 60s. Great piece of history captured here 🙂

@sijamescoates @BusAndTrainUser This is the layout as it was in 1987 - two long island platforms with continuous shelters. Was this the original layout or was there something prior to this? This was swept away and replaced with DIRO style by summer 1990, but the overbridge still appeared to be present then.

Good to see Harlow’s temporary bus station open for business. I doubt anyone will miss the old one about to be demolished and rebuilt.
