#h1b - is a result of greed , otherwise don't u feel odd , the people who are able to send man to moon ,can't find solution to 'skill shortage' , why is industry not funding education , why so high student loans and on top of that competition from cheap labor

@anirb_das #h1b ,#h4ead - is a life choice, u came here and accepted it knowingly and willingly, nobody forced u to come here and regulations (like country cap were there ) , none of u live ghettos , and most H1B jobs taken are not even highly skilled

The moment you say "H1B is modern slavery", you lose the argument. No one has H1Bs in chains, you are free to leave. To make a comparison is sheer stupidity. Refrain from making comparisons with any other immigrant group. Don't have a false sense of "privileged immigrant" air.

When you support every other form of restricting immigration which does not affect you, you lose the argument and support right there. Please keep these in mind when proposing country caps on H1Bs, stopping PERMs for Indians etc. How about USCIS stops renewing H1Bs for Indians?

Again a misinformation , the judge said it was illegal - for as per law things like #daca should be decided by Congress not by an executive order , this decision is about preserving voters power , for one president say others say not ok

@msjustice2 Question is what next after DACA ,#H1b, #H4EAD - it's a cycle of not investing in your people, then say labor shortage (skilled or unskilled) , &the cycle repeats itself, yet big corp have grown bigger , upward mobility reduced , debt has increased salaries remained stagnant

This is misinformation , nobody is keeping anyone indentured, there are low skilled #h1b workers who are responsible for - taking jobs from Americans and keeping salaries stagnant and also prevented talented #h1b from getting gc

@immad Why hire someone on #H1B and keep him/her indentured to your company. For people from some countries are de facto banned from getting a Green Card.

It's really sad to see talented people not getting gc , but problem is low skilled #h1b people stagnating the lines , if salary hikes as proposed by earlier government comes into effect , automatically things will be sorted , there won't be even need for #h1b quotas

Using big words like Racism is bad , per county cap for immigration is to allow diversity , what's more prone to discriminatory behavior - a diverse workforce in a department or a department with people from one country, #h1b was screwed don't let the GC process too
