@PathOfMen_ nope. Phone call functionality did nothing, I want my PDA back. And iPod? Like seriously your dick got hard for being controlled with DRM or you are just that ignorant? I want MiniDisc players back. I'd make ecletic mixes recorded from CD at home.

@XVanFleet @badpatch I guess American restaurants are 3rd world, I might not pay for my food for 2 hours. It could be half digested by time I pay. What a ridiculous take.

@XVanFleet If I'm hungry why would I pay for the food first? At a restaurant it may be hours before I pay for the food. I have no idea what you're talking about. Actually if I came from the gym, I try to finish drinking the bottle before she scans it so she can offer to pitch it!

@BriannaWu Democrats are actually a mix of radical leftists and the remaining herd that follows (mostly without an ideology of their own, subsisting on contrarianism to the Republicans). The radical left are actual nihilists. Don't know what you can "wake" nihilists up to tbh. :(

I know exactly what Islamists think about Jews and trans women. And I know this because they tell me tens of thousands of times a day since October 7th. They want to eradicate both of us. They don’t think either of us are really human. And violence against us gives them pleasure. No matter what you think about Republicans, these Islamist theocrats are 1000 times worse. Democrats need to wake up and realize the political horror we are siding with.

Can congress and/or our elected officials finally man/woman up, step up, and deal with this bullshit? Unless everyone who refuses to take action is complicit, there’s absolutely no reason why we should be left to deal with this disaster the administration has all but guaranteed for the American citizens. All Petey has done was to identify small and insignificant “wasteful spend” to fund his stupid war (that we, the taxpayers do not even want.) It’s been proven that DOGE saved us zero money, if anything costing us more. And don’t forget the “oops, not sure how all that PII data (SSA) was handed to an outside contractor org” - such an unreal mess. It’s clear that nobody believes anything that this administration says. So what is left to get our elected officials to do what they are paid to do, instead of taking long vacations and constantly going on recess? Sending letter letters and complaining doesn’t seem to be doing much.

@lynk0x this shit is idiotic - for most people having 2 to 10 million with a paid off house and not working again is as rich as they care to be - actually higher quality of life than having to work 60 hr weeks to maintain an empire. And they get there as employees - all my friends w/ 2-3M

Caught on camera: A tourist in Key West reaches into a coffee shop’s tip jar and steals about $20 while paying for her order. When employees at The Funky Rooster Coffee House confronted her and called the police, officers quickly tracked her down on Duval Street. Bodycam footage shows the woman (a 63-year-old from New Jersey) denying it even after being shown the surveillance video — claiming she might have just “bumped” the jar. She was arrested for misdemeanor petty theft, released on a $1,000 bond, and later pleaded no contest. Her daughter was also present and got a lecture from officers about the situation. Stealing from hard-working baristas and service staff? Not a good look — especially on vacation. Tips are how these folks make ends meet. What kind of person does this?

You can argue that America is one of the most capitalist countries on earth. What you can’t argue is that it’s consistently capitalist, or that it hasn’t become less so over time. So when you resent the outcomes you’re seeing today, it’s worth asking whether you’re reacting to capitalism… or to the steady move away from it.

@heresyfinancial Yes. The USA is radicalizing its own citizens with these moral crimes - extraterritorial law. I would do anything in my power to harm the US as that would be justice for the crimes they commit against me as a daily posture

"yOu CaN lEaVe AnYtImE yOu WaNt!!!" Wrong. 1. If you just leave, the US keeps taxing you. The US and Eritrea (literal dictatorship) are the only countries on earth with global taxation 2. If you want to "opt out" you must already be a citizen of another country. This requires winning the genetic lottery and being born to someone who has dual citizenship already. Or, you can do citizenship through investment - which is only available to the rich. 90% of citizens will never be able to consider purchasing another citizenship and expatriating. 3. The idea that low-tax low-regulation countries are undeveloped, poverty and crime stricken places is just American propaganda. Some of the richest and freest places on earth have low total tax burdens. Singapore, Ireland, Estonia, Cyprus, UAE, are some examples. 4. You are not free to leave. And you are not free when you stay. Your labor belongs to the government, and they decide how much of it you get to keep. Or else they imprison you. What a choice.
CRE Guy@CREresearchguy

@heresyfinancial you are free to give up your citizenship and move to a low-tax, low-regulation place like botswana or ghana.

Khomeini and the Iranian Revolution of 1979 is one of history’s most brutal lessons in political betrayal. The revolution was not only carried by Islamists. It was a broad coalition. Leftists. Marxists. Intellectuals. Nationalists. All united by one thing - they wanted the Shah gone. And Khomeini let them do the work. He waited. He let all the other groups help overthrow the Shah. And then - once power was won - he systematically began to eliminate all his former allies. The leftists and Marxists who had fought by his side were the first to end up in the prisons and at the execution lines. The Tudeh Party - Iran’s Communist Party - was completely wiped out. The Mojahedin-e Khalq - left-wing Islamists - who had fought against the Shah were declared enemies and massacred. The bitter point: The leftists helped build the prison they ended up in themselves. This is exactly the same pattern we see in the West today - where leftists defend an ideology that would kill them for their values. History repeats itself. And those who refuse to learn it…are already building their own prison.

@ProfBZZZ It took about 3 years of conscience effort to develop the patience to sit through a video that I could'nt skim for key information like the pages of a book. The velocity of "new data" is so slow in videos.

@ProfBZZZ When YouTube started to take off in the mid 2000s, I had to train myself to be able to watch vids - I trained myself because it was a skill I WANTED to have. It seemed many interesting things were on videos but I had no access to them, because I couldn't stand slow - non-written

A student today at my elite university admitted to me today that she took a class so she could work on reading for more than 20 minutes at a time. She can't read. She mainly skims and summarizes, she says and still gets A's. This student is, by professional standards, illiterate. Gonna have high GPA when she graduates. This conversation was had after 6 of 22 students dropped my course because the maximum reading per week in one week was over 100 pages. What people aren't grasping is that this is literally *dangerous*. These people are going to be come doctors, engineers, etc. They are - by any metric - vastly less capable than prior generations. These effects are cumulative over a lifetime. This grade inflation is part of the problem, but not even close to the entirety. And the problem obviously starts in K-12. Students don't know history because, you can't actually become historically literate on the advice of 'never assign more than 30 pages a week'. You can't develop any of the skills that came with literacy. This is, quite honestly, a civilizational catastrophe.

79% of grades at Yale are A-range. Graduating summa cum laude requires a record high GPA OF 3.98.

When I was 13, I hoped that one day I would have a girlfriend with big tits... When I was 16, I got a girlfriend with big tits, but there was no passion, so I decided I needed a passionate girl with zest for life. In college I dated a passionate girl, but she was too emotional. Everything was an emergency; she was a drama queen, cried all the time and threatened suicide. So I decided I needed a girl with stability. When I was 25, I found a very stable girl but she was boring. She was totally predictable and never got excited about anything. Life became so dull that I decided I needed a girl with some excitement. When I was 28, I found an exciting girl, but I couldn't keep up with her. She rushed from one thing to another, never settling on anything. She did mad impetuous things and made me miserable as often as happy. She was great fun initially and very energetic, but directionless. So I decided to find a girl with some real ambition. When I turned 30, I found a smart ambitious girl with her feet planted firmly on the ground, so I married her. She was so ambitious that she divorced me and took everything I owned. I am older and wiser now, and I am looking for a girl with big tits.
