@TheProfRog I’ve not seen the film but “revoir” could also be translated as “met again” or even “re-examined.”

Paris Memories is such a brilliantly handled film about PTSD, but how to translate that title ‘Revoir Paris’ closer to the spirit of the film? ‘Paris Re-Seen’? ‘Paris Re-memoried’? Needs something awkward, jagged, like scar tissue.

@silversatire I'm totally old-school on this - reviews need to be unbiased, (i.e. not paid for) otherwise, what's the point for the reader?

Just had an invitation from someone on Twitter to pay them to review my book. They had a whole menu of options with different costs. Is this normal? How can their reviews be trusted? Saddens me to discover opinions can be bought and sold.
