@exquizitely Total Annihilation and it ain't even close.

So many great RTS games were released before the year 2000. I tried to narrow it down to the absolute best and I find the decision really tough. I feel there is one that definitely has to be considered as the #1, which is StarCraft (Blizzard,1998). It's extremely difficult to have 3 races that are so totally unique and still have an even playing field (let's ignore the balance whining for a moment) that makes for some of the best and most competitive battles ever. I know there will be some (maybe many?) who argue in favor of Command & Conquer, Age of Empires, Warcraft, or Dune II. All excellent choices, of course. I might have even forgotten one among the many brilliant RTS games of that era. What stands out to me is that 27 years after its release, StarCraft is still played on the most competitive level with a very active community, tournaments with great live casting, and massive prize pools. I wonder at what point it will fade out?

@ID_AA_Carmack @Project2501_117 @bryan_johnson 100% am hitting the "not enough protein" wall. I think as you age that one becomes more and more vital too. I also have to say, eating a ton of protein is an absolute nightmare to accomplish, especially when you find the powders and shakes unpalatable.

A chunk of this is just @Project2501_117 dressing me in tighter shirts, but I did put on several pounds of muscle this year after switching my random grab bag of vitamins and supplements over to @bryan_johnson ‘s Blueprint system. I was probably not getting enough protein to take advantage of the exercise I was doing. I have always been roughly “upper quintile” for fitness — regular exercise, but not at the level of the serious athletes that most offices tend to have a few of.
