Help, flight cancelled and rebooked through ME without permission. @British_Airways - contact me immediately or give me a path that actually works to contact you.

A question: what are the things you wish there was a word for? And have you come up with your own word to fill that gap?

@susie_dent I wish there was word for when something is added to a list of available wi-fis or Bluetooth devices from the top so they all move down, just as you are going to click, so that you accidentally try to connect your phone to your neighbours wi-fi or laptop.

@susie_dent A person's grown up children. There's no word for it! You have to keep introducing them as your children -"Hi, I'm Frank and these are my children, Jack and Suzy" even if they're both like 32

@susie_dent Article of clothing. Why is that three words? My daughter (at age three) used the word “clo” for article of clothing assuming that was the singular form of clothes, so now we all say it 😂

I suggest hunting down a copy of The Meaning Of Liff by Douglas Adams and John Lloyd as there might be a word for it already and you just don't know it. Some examples: Aboyne (vb.) To beat an expert at a game of skill by playing so appallingly that none of his clever tactics or strategies are of any use to him Trunch (n.) - Instinctive resentment of people younger than you. Spurger (n.) - One who in answer to the question 'How are you?' actually tells you. Bathel (vb.) - To pretend to have read the book under discussion when in fact you've only seen the TV series.

@simon_ayling @British_Airways Hah hah I wouldn’t call it an obsession more an interest in encouraging an improvement in attitudes at BA even if only a small way. In the same way as having taken my business elsewhere

@Chrisredfield87 @SamsungUK @roytho01 Let's say you replace your phone every year, and each charger lasts 3 years. After 15 years, you will have one phone and 8 chargers, having had 15 that you paid for as part of replacing the phone each year, with 7 'broken' after 3 years. It doesn't make sense

@simon_ayling @SamsungUK @roytho01 This is why we won't get things like this. Everybody needs phones these days and for them to work, we need WORKING chargers. Chargers will break in a few years. I shouldn't HAVE to buy a charger when I consistently get new phones?

How has it become acceptable that manufacturers sell you kit costing hundreds of £'s but not supply a charger @SamsungUK

@Chrisredfield87 @SamsungUK @roytho01 They did just that - the product comes without a plug - if you want one, they are available, as an optional extra. Not for free, because everyone would just add it and that means the cost would have to be baked in.

@SamsungUK @roytho01 Just supply a plug. We pay enough. Make it optional considering you sell plugs separately. Ask if the buyer wants a plug with their purchase. Sometimes plugs can burn out or stop charging as well as they used to. Offer free replacements. Do something that doesn't expose greed.

@SamsungUK This is a ridiculous observation, you can only charge one device at a time, so each device should come with a charger, it's about increasing profit not the environment

@barcanation @Ryanair Using can't or cannot does not change the fact that Elon Musk is legislatively prevented from buying Ryanair. I have no idea what point you are trying to make, self-appointed representative of the Spanish people(!)

@simon_ayling @Ryanair Hey @elonmusk, here's a “director” of some random company using the word “Can’t”. Employees of whatever he represents are in the wrong hands. Lyanair is what he’s not willing to buy.
