Delta Airlines has responded to Elon Musk's post below with a statement: “The assertion in question is not accurate. Incorporating Delta Sync with Starlink would have been permitted under SpaceX's in-flight Wi-Fi agreement." Delta on why it chose Amazon's LEO: "This agreement gives us the fastest and most cost-effective technology available to better connect the world today, and it deepens our work with a global leader that shares our ambition to build what’s next." The airline is targeting 2028 to start offering Leo in-flight Wi-Fi on about half of its fleet. The rest of the jets will continue to use Viasat and Hughesnet.

Not exactly. SpaceX requires that there be no annoying “portal” to use Starlink. Starlink WiFi must just work effortlessly every time, as though you were at home. Delta wanted to make it painful, difficult and expensive for their customers. Hard to see how that is a winning strategy.

There is a rogue coffee mug in Conference Room B. It has been sitting at the head of the table since Tuesday. I need to book this room for a Q3 planning session, but the mug has established territorial dominance. Nobody knows who it belongs to. It just says "World's Okayest Boss" in faded blue font. I tried to move it yesterday, but the VP of Sales walked by and I panicked. I pretended to be intensely studying a blank dry erase board. If I throw the mug away, I risk angering an unknown executive. If I leave it, I'm submitting to the authority of a dirty dish. I just sent an org-wide email asking if anyone left it behind. HR replied privately and asked me to stop distracting the team. I'm currently conducting my quarterly review in the stairwell.

Tesla is ending one-time FSD purchases across Europe on May 21, 2026. This includes the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Denmark, and others. You have two weeks to buy FSD outright before it's gone forever and switches to a subscription model. One-time FSD purchases end in the Netherlands on May 15, 2026.

On page twenty-six of “The Billionaire Tax” proposal in California, it explains how the state legislature can convert from a Billionaire Tax to an Everyone Tax without voter approval. They can also adjust the tax to be a yearly tax, not just one time…again, without your approval. Intelligence test for you: if this was meant to just target Billionaires, why did they write this in?
Chamath Palihapitiya@chamath

The Billionaire Tax is actually an Everyone Tax. The Billionaire Tax is a new tax proposal written by four professors who don't believe in the American dream. Some of them aren’t even American…go figure. Despite its name, it applies to every California resident who currently has assets or ever will. The creators named it the Billionaire Tax so you would get into a froth andwouldn't look closely at what it actually does to you. On page twenty-six, it explains how the government can convert to an Everyone Tax without voter approval. They can also adjust the tax to be a yearly tax, not just one time…again, without your approval. Here's how the tax would work: As a voter, you're being asked to approve a tax that would require you to: 1. list all your assets and the value of each, then submit them to the California Franchise Tax Board. 2. authorize the tax board to appraise your assets and confirm the value of each. 3. pay a penalty of up to forty percent of your tax bill if the board determines your reported value was too low in their opinion. 4. allow the tax board to subpoena your financial records from every one of your financial institutions for auditing. This Everyone Tax runs 34 pages of shifty language describing how the government plans to take your assets. Read the fine print and decide for yourself. If this were truly a billionaire tax, it would be 3 pages. It’s 34 pages so that it can create the mechanisms to steal from all of you.

Just saw this post on FB: “I don't know who I need to tag but Tesla... if you're reading this... get ahold of me. I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ and I first in foremost believe that He truly saved my life on Tuesday afternoon... HOWEVER, more so than ever am now a FIRM advocate for the safely of Tesla!! I was hit head on by a drunk driver who plunged straight at. He was going so fast he was ejected from his vehicle (also not wearing a safety belt), but all of my airbags deployed and my phone automatically dialed 911... I was also to walk away with swelling, bruising, and a fractured sternum. The gentleman that struck me was in ICU in a trauma center. God is so good and merciful, and I'm thankful I was in a Tesla!!!” - Adrienne Rose Alvarado — 🥹 feeling emotional. Yes, it’s only Teslas for our family as well, the safest cars on earth that drive themselves. Thank you @elonmusk and the whole @Tesla team! 🙏

More to nice things, the reason I went aggressive on my investments is because I wanted to live a 2m+ waterfront house. I asked my wife, a realtor, to start booking tours. The purchase will be done in fully cash. I want that peace of mind not having a mortgage over my head esp with some of my concentrated positions. At some point I want to take easy and rotate some to index & chill. (I know many you guys here are expert geo-detectives so I have to be super careful about what I share - more to come)

I know you guys hate my conflict with $IREN FinX. It's really not about my losses. I have concerns about the company risks itself. But I dislike the toxic behaviors from Mike Alfred and the FinX mobsters. The constant bullying, belittling, gaslighting, and mocking. For now, I want to minimize the noise and start blocking the core groups behind it.... I have no problem people who own it as long they're civil about it. @mikealfred @Agrippa_Inv @BitcoinAIGuy @DollarCostAvg @FransBakker9812 @jiahanjimliu It's also not even about the stock movement. If it goes up, they feel like geniuses and find ways to mock me. It doesn't bother me the slightest.

NEW: Elon Musk took $500 million in loans out at SpaceX, a move that would have been illegal at a public company. It's just one example of the years of financial engineering at the helm of his companies. Latest investigation with @susannecraig nytimes.com/2026/04/24/tec…

Ken Griffin is “appalled” that Zohran used his $238m Manhattan penthouse in his tax the rich promotional video Citadel is now apparently considering bailing on their construction plans to build a new office in Midtown. The project would involve $6 billion in spending and would create 15k permanent jobs in NYC according to Citadel’s COO "It is shameful that he used Ken's name as the example of those who supposedly aren't carrying their fair share of the burdens associated with New York City's often costly and wasteful spending," the email said. "In doing so, the mayor has once again manifested the ignorance and disdain of the elite political class towards those who have been consistently committed to building one of the greatest cities in the world." Would be both incredibly petty but also hilarious if Citadel backed out of their plans over this

@smdcapital Bezos did land the boosters back to back, however they did not deploy the satellite at the correct altitude. Definitely progress, need more fine tuning but for sure getting half a step closer to SpaceX. Figure scaling? Highly doubt it. Elon has always set audacious goals 🤷‍♂️

just thinking outloud: elon's competitive edge used to be his intelligence, speed and access to capital but the world's smartest now have advanced AI, closing the gap tremendously and enabling speed of GTM never before seen. private co's are raising hundreds of billions, and public co's have trillions in market cap and virtually unlimited access to debt financing -bezos is landing rockets now -grok is nowhere near SOTA -optimus delays with fake excuses, while figure & unitree are actively scaling -waymo is in every major city, robotaxi has not scaled in 1 year post-launch where are the wins? he'll need to pull off a major J curve arc very soon to change the narrative everyone says he's doing this on purpose in order to have spacex buy tesla for cheap -- why would bulls be happy about this? it violates fiduciary duty and also is immoral (if he is simply trying to increase % ownership) its not clear what the bull thesis to be heavily allocated on the name is right now, as the 'elon multiple' is fading alongside his overall aura. might be better to wait for an index pullback for better entries. IMHO there's no reason for tesla to have any kind of rally in the near-term, especially given how stretched the indexes are already "better to be a little late, than too early" has been the tagline for tsla unfortunately

Every major Western OEM has committed to Gigacasting. One has not - and their EV strategy is struggling 🔥 At Stellantis' annual Factory Booster Day, Chief Manufacturing Officer Arnaud Deboeuf made the company's position clear: "We don't see the benefit in manufacturing, we don't see the benefit in CapEx, and we don't see the benefit in after-sales." Stellantis remains the only mass market Western OEM refusing to adopt Gigacasting. Here is the problem. Their strategy is adapting existing ICE factories for EVs instead of building new platforms from scratch. The result: EVs built on adapted ICE platforms which are heavy and inefficient. They do not go far and they do not sell. Every other major OEM - Volkswagen, Ford, Volvo, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Nissan - is investing in Gigacasting. Because they understood that designing an efficient EV means starting from zero. 📊 Every major Western OEM's Gigacasting program - machines ordered, installed, delayed, and cancelled - verified in the Gigacasting Database: industryarsenal.com/upgrade When you start from a blank page, everyone realizes Gigacasting is not so bad after all. "Our way is cheaper" only works if you actually sell vehicles. The EV sales numbers speak for themselves. ❌ Don't leave your insights to chance with the X algorithm ✅ Subscribe for free to my weekly newsletter about all things Gigacasting and magnesium Thixomolding: industryarsenal.com 📬 Credit: Volvo
