For weeks trying to fathom out why backbench Labour MPs/ministers were not publicising Starmer government’s achievements (and they are considerable). On track to meet 70% of 2024 manifesto commitments in 2 years. Obvious now - did not want him as PM - plotting for one year. /1

@Bonn1eGreer @RealBristolNews The reality is that the mayor and almost the entire London assembly are completely unaccountable. Assembly Members do literally nothing but still take the pay check. And if you want evidence - just look at the atrocious TfL performance that they are paid to oversee.

@AdnanHussainMP @JamesFrith needs to read the IHRA definition and maybe then he will understand why conflating Judaism with the state of Israel, as he as done, is antisemitism Appalling ignorance that he doesn't already know that

We cannot allow the charge of genocide in Gaza to be obscured by accusations of antisemitism. Antisemitism is hatred of Jewish people; criticism of Israel is criticism of a state with military and political apparatus capable of committing genocide. The two must not be conflated.

@g__j @strongpotions_ @OctopusEnergy It’s not rare Greg. This is how octopus operates, (based on my experience). As you will know from the many emails I’ve sent you, Kraken is flawed but no one at octopus will listen. Apparently A.I. knows better than humans.

Keir Starmer, the utterly mediocre product of Project Mandelson-McSweeney, rose to power over a mountain of Palestinian corpses, and on the strength of a fake anti-Semitism crisis so obscene it included the purge of lifelong, elderly Jewish Labour Party members for the crime of opposing Israeli apartheid. May Starmer's ejection from office be as painful and humiliating as possible. He deserves nothing less.

@hammer_mt I always found it rather concerning the way product teams often insisted that they should not be asked to ‘context switch’. Meanwhile the rest of the business was forced to context switch around the product team.

Maureen Lipman has been saying Judi Dench is only a national treasure because she goes on Graham Norton. She’s not close to Dench’s league & even feels the need to refer to herself as ‘DAME Maureen’ in all the publicity for her latest play, which is just not ever done by actors!

@NeilJ94163976 @andrewfeinstein Lies. Lies. Lies. We’ve all seen the quadcopters targeting and killing civilians. No one believes your lies any more. We see through it. We can’t wait for the ICC and ICJ trials.

@sionsion @andrewfeinstein No. The quadcopters are not for targetting civilians at all. They are for precision targetting and surveillance of combatants. So these twats have degraded that capability. Think just for a bit, why buy them if a big bomb does what you want, why bother? Tell me you get it.

My statement on the Filton 4 case, as an expert on the global arms trade: ‘These quadcopter drones are key instruments of genocide, used by the Israeli forces in Gaza for surveillance, targeting and to kill. Had they not been destroyed by these brave actionists, they could have easily ended up facilitating yet more killing and devastation. To call those who disabled them terrorists is a perverse distortion of the truth. The real outrage is the continued arming and enabling of a genocidal military campaign that has devastated an entire civilian population. Those who smashed these drones to pieces were not spreading terror - they were trying to prevent it.’
Huda Ammori@HudaAmmori

Tom Wainwright, one of the defence barristers, said of the destruction of drones: “They may have been involved in taking the lives of men, women and children in Gaza. That is why they acted. That’s something that – in a sane world – would be commended.” theguardian.com/uk-news/2026/j…

@andrewfeinstein Quadcopter drones are being used by israel to target and kill terrorist. That’s literally why they use them. Destroying them is an attempt to prevent proscribed terrorists from being targeted and killed, is actually an act of terrorism in itself.

@andrewfeinstein I see, so what you are saying is it’s better not to have a quadcopter to carry out survellance and specific targetting. Just carry out indescriminate bombing instead. An interesting take on preventing unecessary death. As an expert, you don’t seem to be a very good one.

The effort to portray these individuals as victims is laughable. They were not jailed for their opinions. They were not jailed for supporting Palestinians. They were not jailed for protesting. They were jailed because they smashed their way into a facility, caused more than £1 million in damage, and one of them was convicted of grievous bodily harm after attacking a police officer with a sledgehammer. This wasn't civil disobedience. It was criminality. Some activists have convinced themselves that any act becomes justified if the target is connected to Israel. Vandalism becomes "resistance." Violence becomes "direct action." Criminals become "heroes." Thankfully, the court saw through the slogans and looked at the facts. These are not political prisoners. They are convicted offenders who committed serious crimes and received serious sentences. Calling them martyrs doesn't change what they did. It only demonstrates how far some people are willing to excuse lawlessness when Israel is involved. #consequences #justice

Do you remember when Lee Rigby was beheaded? I do. Back then, it was a one off horror. We'd never seen anything like it. Now, this kind of ultra extreme violence on our streets seems to be happening all the time. So many policy failures, again and again and again.
