Congolese Man Who Threatened to “Die With Someone” if they Chase Him Out of SA in Viral Gun Video Arrested in KwaNongoma After Being Tracked Down by Phakel’umthakathi and His Men A Congolese man has been arrested in KwaNongoma after appearing in a viral video carrying an alleged unlicensed firearm. In the clip, he threatened to “die with someone” if anyone tried to chase him out of South Africa. Local community members tracked him down and handed him over to police unharmed. The incident occurred in KwaNongoma, KwaZulu-Natal. The man was seen in the video with the firearm, which is alleged to be unlicensed. He made the threatening statement amid discussions about removing foreigners from the area. KwaNongoma anti-illegal immigration activist Phakelumthakathi Ndabandaba, together with his group, located the man after the video spread. They approached him and warned him not to ever again disrespect local men, then handed him to the police without causing any harm. Police are now investigating the allegations of the unlicensed firearm and the threats made in the video. The man remains in custody as authorities continue their probe into the matter.

@sipsmth12 Toyota SA Motors suggested a launch in the opening half of 2026. I’ve heard a rumour of May, but that’s by no means confirmed.

@sipsmth12 As far as I know, the TX is still built exclusively in LHD, so that effectively rules it out for SA. The Crown Signia is possible, I guess, but I'd say it's unlikely at this stage.

Sisisi Tolashe Faces Questions Over Luxury SUVs Allegedly Donated to ANCWL but Registered to Her Children Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe is facing mounting scrutiny following allegations that two luxury SUVs she said were donated to the African National Congress Women's League were instead registered in the names of her adult children. According to an investigation published on 2 April 2026 by Daily Maverick, the two BAIC Beijing X55 vehicles valued at roughly R400,000 to R500,000 each were registered in April 2024 to Nanilethu Tolashe and Kanyisa Tolashe. One of the vehicles was later sold through an online marketplace. In a February 2026 written reply to ActionSA MP Dereleen James, Tolashe stated the SUVs had been donated by Chinese officials directly to the ANC Women’s League and therefore did not need to be declared in Parliament’s Register of Members’ Interests. However, senior ANCWL officials have since indicated they have no record of the vehicles. Speaking on The Clement Manyathela Show, the league’s secretary-general confirmed the organisation had “no record of cars,” while its treasurer also said she was unaware of any such assets belonging to the league. The report further found that the vehicles were released from a Pretoria dealership in December 2024 more than a year after the alleged donation period in late 2023 raising additional questions about the timeline and handling of the vehicles. Neither Tolashe nor the Chinese embassy responded to requests for comment at the time of publication. The revelations have sparked renewed debate about transparency and compliance with South Africa’s Executive Ethics Code, although no formal investigation has yet been announced.

MEHMET VEFA DAG -Cape Town Mayor Candidate@AFRICANDEMOC

Just so you know what really happened to Lt General Mfazi & how evil your leaders are. This is the late former SAPS National Deputy Commissioner for Crime Detection Lt General Mfazi & when Lt General Mfazi died, the SAPS National Commissioner at the time publicly announced in an official statement that Lt General Mfazi had died from Covid19, however back at Lt General Mfazi's home, the Chief of Staff in the Presidency had already arrived just hours after Lt General Mfazi died, along with General Vuma, who both then blocked Lt General Mfazi's wife from being able to enter her own home, but she didn't back down & forced her way in, & it's her being able to force her way in, that she found her husband's body in a pool of blood, he had vomited blood, & he had been bleeding from his eyes & ears. This is why Lt General Mfazi's family refused to accept the SAPS saying he had died of Covid19, so Lt General Mfazi's family had an independent toxicology test done & this test found he had been poisoned with "casting resin". When a person is poisoned with casting resin, this poison makes wholes in a person's organs which causes severe internal bleeding so that's why Lt General Mfazi was found in a pool of blood by his wife, having vomited blood & bleeding from his other organs, but remember that the Chief of Staff in the Presidency along with General Vuma were also present at that moment, & despite this horrific sight Lt General Mfazi's wife found him in, the Chief of Staff & General Vuma were forcibly taking all Lt General Mfazi's files, his laptop & his cell phone, so imagine the family is still shocked & crying in hysteria at the horrific manner Lt General Mfazi died in, the Chief of Staff & General Vuma were actually ordering the family to hand over all Lt General Mfazi's policing records, & could not give a damn the traumatic incident Lt General Mfazi's family was going through, they just didn't care, as long as they could take all the evidence of the investigations Lt General Mfazi was busy with before he was murdered, including the illegal use of SAPS Crime Intelligence slush funds to trace & murder suspects in the Phala Phala robbery, & now on top of all this, the Parliamentary ad hoc committee is trying to sweep all this under the carpet. That's how evil your leaders are, too evil to describe in words... #JusticeForGeneralMfazi #JusticeForGeneralMfazi #JusticeForGeneralMfazi

JUST IN: Tshwane MMC for Corporate and Shared Services, Clir Kholofelo Morodi has been fired. This follows testimony at the Madlanga Commission. “The material before me reflects a pattern of engagement and conduct over an extended period, including an inappropriate relationship between Clir Morodi and Sergeant Nkosi, which raises serious concerns regarding the handling of information and adherence to the standards expected of members of the executive,” said Mayor @nasiphim
