Today’s Spacecraft of the day is the Atlas V Rocket 🚀 Built in collaboration between Lockheed Martin $LMT & Boeing $BA the Atlas V. The Atlas V has been the workhorse of most Martian missions, and helped Amazon deploy over 200 Low Earth Orbit Satellites. The Atlas was originally built in 2002, so far it has successfully completed 110 flights. As of right now, NASA stores 8 remaining vehicles and are planning to use it to deploy Boeing’s Starliner. The Atlas will soon be replaced with the Vulcan rocket, which ULA (United Launch Alliance) has actively been developing.

The US has never been a member of the ICC. Neither has Russia, China or Israel. But this statement comes during one of the most legally active periods in the court’s history — with ongoing investigations tied to conflicts in Ukraine, Gaza, and now potentially the strikes that began this year’s war with Iran. Canada’s own Foreign Minister recently called the original US- Israeli strikes on Iran a “prima facie violation of international law” — language that directly overlaps with exactly the kind of legal scrutiny the ICC exists to investigate. This is the tension at the center of Rubio’s statement. The ICC operates on the principle that no individual — regardless of nationality or power — is above international law.
