I joined @vectordotfun in January 2024 as one of the earliest users. I had no following and no platform, just a willingness to trench for 12 hours a day finding gems and sharing them with the community. After a few crazy calls and over $5 million in volume, I consistently ended up at the top of the weekly leaderboards and built a following of over 10,000 people purely through the work I put in. Midway through this journey my original Twitter @crypticwiz50 got suspended, but I stayed loyal and rebuilt because Vector and the community meant something to me. This morning I woke up excited about the news of the @coinbase merger, thinking it could be a huge breakthrough for traders like me who helped build this platform from day one. Ten minutes later I was hit with a notification telling me to move all my assets because the platform was shutting down. No warning, no communication, no chance to tell my followers where to find me. A full year of daily grinding wiped out instantly. I am shocked and honestly feel disrespected by how this was handled. There was zero regard for the traders who spent every day building this platform into what it became. @vectordotfun @nftimm @ilmoi @0xrwu @jamesprisby @coinbase @shanaggarwal @cobie we deserve an explanation. For those of you who followed me, I am still figuring out my next steps and where I will move my trenching, but I may take some time off because this was genuinely devastating.
