HHC questioned my integrity regarding this clip, saying, "I can guess which parts of this you will end up clipping and which parts you won't." I'm not going to clip this, but I will respond to it since HHC is so proud of what he did here. HHC's argument, so far as I can understand it, is that Bonhoeffer was just in trying to undermine and take down an tyrannical government. And so, it follows that his execution for doing so was unjust. The issue that I have (and perhaps EDW does as well) is that this is a category error. Let's assume for the sake of argument that Bonhoeffer was in the right (morally) for doing what he did, which led to his arrest. That does not mean that he was free from the 𝑙𝑒𝑔𝑎𝑙 consequences of said actions. He broke the laws of his country and was executed by the magistrate. Was the magistrate just in doing so? Yes. Was the magistrate moral in doing so? Irrelevant. Think about this example. If I stood in the streets of Mecca, proclaiming Christ is king and Muhammed is a false prophet, I would be arrested and probably put to death. The moral rightness of my actions would be irrelevant. The state would justly punish me for breaking the law, because that is what the state does. Ultimately, I would be vindicated by God in eternity, while the evil magistrate would receive His wrath in eternity. So in conclusion, I agree with EDW that Bonhoeffer was "in the game," as it were. He had full knowledge of what he was doing and what the consequences might be. And Bonhoeffer's actions to save Jews (if that's what happened) did not save him from God's wrath; in fact, his heretical views all but guaranteed what he would face in the life to come. We should stop lionizing historical figures based on how they treated Jews, if we actually care about their souls.

Evangelical Dark Web not knowing why Bonhoeffer was arrested, what the Aryan paragraph was, or what the Barmen declaration was.

NEW 🚨 THOMAS MASSIE FILES BOMBSHELL FROM AXIOS. Axios confirms the $60,000 settlement and NDA is legitimate. Spoke with both Massie office & West. Thomas Massie threatened West at a Cracker Barrell in Kentucky. Axios states Cynthia West had "issues with transparency & accountability" that's why she couldn't remain silent with money. Assuming from hypocrites like Thomas Massie. To make things worse, West was let go because she spoke up when Victoria Spartz hired a NON CITIZEN as a district director position over Ukraine. Not very "America First" This story seems 100% legitimate. Cynthia should be treated as a Patriot & hero for speaking out & refusing to be bought off with money to stay silent.

Lol great comeback. I've never heard that before from every leftist idiot out there. What does it feel like to be intellectually useless? Seriously. On a more substantive note, how do you justify treating Massie as disgustingly as you acknowledge the "woke right" has been treating Erika? You didn't answer the question.

Thomas Massie’s wife died on June 27, 2024 and by July 12, he was in Las Vegas partying it up but you will never see the woke right treat him like they treat Erika Kirk. Your wife just died and you go to Las Vegas? What the fuck!!??

@JayTC53 Such blatant lies. Imagine actually believing this 🤡 Zionists are desperate and act like this isn’t exactly the same playbook that was used against Trump for the last 10 years. Massie has proved he’s truly America first. But you Zionist propagandists can’t have that

Lmao this desperate lying bitch Cynthia West is a textbook scorned whore running a timed political hit job. Her “receipts”? A bunch of flirty DMs from a grieving widower she chased after his wife died. She fucked her way into a job with Spartz thanks to Massie, got dumped when she turned into an emotional vampire demanding shit he wouldn’t give, then cried “abuse” and got fired for being a liability. Now she’s shopping a $60k NDA + $5k “cow money” sob story like the gold-digging opportunist she is. Zero proof of anything illegal, just a bitter ex trying to cash in right before the Kentucky primary because her handlers hate that Massie won’t bend the knee to Trump. Cry harder, you pathetic attention whore. Massie’s voters aren’t stupid enough to fall for this trash. Go milk your cows and fuck off.

I confronted world famous philosopher, Slavoj Zizek, on why he calls himself a communist when over 100 million people have died as a direct result of communism… He couldn’t provide an understandable answer. Either he is just a lot smarter than me, or this is all nonsense.

There is a deep spiritual component to the hatred of whites and the displacement of them from every country, from Ireland (which was a colony, never "did anything" to anyone) to Australia. I don't understand why the demons hate white people so much. But you can't not see this.

Descartes made the mistake of assuming the existence of "I", which Buddhism tells us is an illusion (and many other mystics from many traditions agree). In his book "Waking Up" Sam Harris describes being led by a specialist teacher** to directly experience that the self is an illusion. ** Budhist monk I think, but I don't remember that exact detail.

Sam Harris on why consciousness is more certain than the universe — and why free will is a different problem entirely Pulling out a clip from my conversation with Sam Harris (@MakingSenseHQ) where he draws an asymmetry I think is worth sitting with. His claim: consciousness is the one thing in the universe that can't be an illusion — even more certain than physics. We could be brains in vats, in the matrix, on an alien supercomputer. None of it changes the fact that something seems to be happening. That seeming IS consciousness. Free will? Different story. Sam argues it's not just illusory but incoherent — provably so, regardless of how you tune determinism vs quantum indeterminism. He agrees with Sapolsky on the conclusion but adds a unique contribution on the experience of free will itself. Curious what the community thinks. Does the consciousness-as-bedrock argument hold under closer inspection, or is it just Descartes in new clothing?

"The Global Compact’s latest report urges nations to expand migration pathways." Oh, so it is just an objection to legal immigration. Got it. Why are these people so obsessed with stopping legal immigration? x.com/StateDept/stat…
Department of State@StateDept

UN agencies systematically facilitated mass migration into America and Europe, even as citizens of these nations called for restrictions on migration. Now the Global Compact’s latest report urges nations to expand migration pathways and pursue “regularization” of migrants.

@DefiantBaptist According to your logic then abortion is not unjust nor is sodomy if the local magistrates have no laws against it. Is this your position?
