A year ago today, the NBA pretty much died to me. I watch about 20% of the Mavs games this season and 1% of NBA national tv games. I used to be at 80-90% Mavs games and 25% national NBA games. I do like Cooper Flagg a lot. My heart can’t get over what Nico and ownership did.

Here is how you fix College Football. 1. Move all teams into ten-team conferences. There will be eight conferences. 2. Every team plays EVERYONE within their conference and then three games against other conferences. 3. The top two teams in each conference play in a Conference Championship Game. This will serve as the first round of the 16-team Playoff. 4. The winner of each Conference Championship Game will advance to an 8-team bracket. Seeding will be determined on SOR in non-conference games, which would incentivize teams to play good non-conference schedules. No at-large, no debates, no quality losses. Want to make the National Championship? Win your conference. Here is what it COULD look like. (This is just an example, don't destroy me over preferred conferences)

It's not that they're not covering the Big 12, it's that the show became a propoganda arm. For the majority of the show's history, it was about exposing these cool places in college football. In years past, this weekend would be at NDSU vs SDSU. Fanatics, atmospheres, regions, traditions... all on display. It's not that I, or fans outside of the SEC wouldn't appreciate a personal showcase or some Big 12 love as well.. It's that the show is dramatically different, and ostensibly worse, than the one we all grew up watching. And that sucks for every college football fan in America because it was such an institution.
