@JacintaAllanMP Not to be a finer point on it... but doesn't VicTrack... a VicGov owned enterprise run part of the data/radio networks? victrack.com.au/services/telec…
And just to point out "We deliver carrier grade data services over a fully redundant, geographically diverse network..." maybe not?

Seeking Financial Advice for My Two Friends: James and John
I have two friends, James and John, who are both in tricky financial situations and looking for advice. Their incomes aren’t likely to change significantly given their current jobs, so they need to make adjustments with what they’ve got. Here’s a snapshot of their situations:
James’ Situation:
Income: $50,000 per year
Spending: $67,000 per year
Annual Deficit: $18,330
Total Debt: $360,000
Interest Payments: $10,000 annually
James is spending 34.66% more than he earns, which seems pretty unsustainable. He’s only covering the interest on his debt, so the total amount he owes continues to grow each year.
John’s Situation:
Income: $49,800 per year
Spending: $53,800 per year
Annual Deficit: $4,000
Total Debt: $120,000
Interest Payments: $5,490 annually
John is also in trouble, spending 8.03% more than he earns. While his situation isn’t as dire as James’, he’s still running a deficit each year and slowly increasing his debt.
What advice would you give James and John?
Given that their incomes are unlikely to increase much, what changes could they make to get their finances under control? I’d love to hear your thoughts on how they could tackle their spending, debt, and interest payments to avoid further trouble.

@rjmontgomery Does not this send a message to the actual customers they are overpaying for these Nick Scali products. I mean great for share holders, but not so great for the end customer.
English

Nick Scali $NCK, a standout in the small cap space, has once again demonstrated its resilience in the face of economic headwinds. Despite a softer revenue of $468 million (down 7.8% YoY) and a net profit after tax of $82 million (down 20% YoY), the company delivered a solid performance that met consensus estimates.
Notably, Nick Scali's gross margins in Australia and New Zealand reached an impressive 66%, significantly ahead of expectations. The company’s strategic expansion into the UK, through the acquisition of Fabb Furniture, is a clear indicator of management’s long-term growth vision. This move not only enhances buying power across markets but also positions Nick Scali to capitalize on declining interest rates, which could further drive growth. While challenges remain, including a softer outlook for new store openings and trading activity, the company's strategic focus on scaling its UK operations and maintaining robust margins is encouraging. As we move into a potentially lower interest rate environment, small caps like Nick Scali are well-positioned to unlock substantial value.

English

@Telstra Both, subscription ended suddenly. Cant see it in offers
English

@speedmeades Was Kayo originally linked to your account, or is it just the offer that's missing? -Wil
English

@Telstra Thanks. Also any idea why kayo suddenly disappeared from my telstra services. It’s no longer available under extras either in the mytelstra app
English

@speedmeades There are no changes to the Telstra TV you use today, and you can continue using it to watch Kayo. There's been no confirmation of Kayo being added to Fetch, however we know it's something our customers love and are hoping it can be a possibility in the future. - Kris
