⚡️ 7 Tips for The Bull Run 1. Winners keep winning Strong tokens will continue to run, even in a sea of red. $TIA is a great example of this If they're an L1, liquidity trickles down to its ecosystem tokens e.g. $SOL and $AVAX >>> Marinade and TraderJoe This applies to NFTs, DeFi, GameFi etc. More liquidity also means more devs, more projects, and more airdrops 2. Narratives are rising tides If a coin runs, everything else that fits that narrative will most likely run (hint: AI, L2s, DePINs). Tokens that fit into multiple narratives will explode, e.g. $RNDR As such, you don't want to enter late and bag hold once money rotates out of a narrative. If you're investing long term, you wait for a better entry 3. History repeats itself SoLunAvax, AI coins, GameFi, Dog coins Sometimes what has worked before will work again, and you can bet on it with more conviction and certainty 4. Split your funds between hodling and rotating Hodling = high conviction bets with strong fundamentals. Plan to TP when bull market starts Rotating = narratives and pamp. Ride the wave, TP for stables, and leave a moon bag A token can exist in both bags. But you manage them differently. Do not co-mingle Hodl for generational wealth. Rotate to gain funds for hodling 5. Patience is not the key. Knowing WHEN to be patient is the key Being patient is good. But you also need to ruthlessly cut losers and prioritize winners Which is also why #4 is so important. When you buy a coin, ask yourself: Am I hodling or rotating? Ascertain the time horizon of your investment / trade, which will then guide your strategy and $$ allocation e.g. GameFi token. Is the game released? If not, when will it be released? How will it be distributed? OK it's a longer term play, how much and how often should I DCA? >> i.e. Be patient e.g. AI token. We're trading. You spot a late runner. You enter + place limit orders at specific levels, instead of DCAing over 2 months >> i.e. Expect to exit at pumps and TP aggressively This simple heuristic has helped me 1) Maximize my immediate gains 2) Plant seeds in future winners 3) Reduce fomo and apeing 6. This ain't Pokemon You cannot catch them all. Crypto is full of shiny objects and people advertising their 100x in their niche The worst thing you can do is spread yourself thin, learn nothing, and fail to manage your positions properly A few high conviction trades and investments > 100s of random dart throws at what's new 7. Have an exit plan Make an exit plan a must-do before you buy anything Exit plan = How, when, and where to take profits #4 and #5 should give you a sense of how you should TP e.g. Sell 25% of whole position for every 75% gain from starting price e.g. Sell 50% when 2x, and another 50% of remaining each subsequent multiple It may seem arbitrary at first, and you might miss out on some gains. But it beats roundtrip-ing profits any day. Over time, you will learn to calibrate your profit taking strategies based on the tokens you buy ====== Last but not least, we're in a bull run, not a bull market. We're close, but we're not there yet Manage risk. Have conviction. Maximize dry powder for the ascent.
