New details emerging on the difficulties in U.S.–Iran negotiations: As of now, Iran is only willing to commit to not developing nuclear weapons, while the U.S. is pushing for concrete steps to reduce enriched uranium—either by selling it, transferring it abroad, or diluting it. A major sticking point is the Strait of Hormuz: Iran wants it under its management, while the U.S. insists on full freedom of navigation. There’s also no agreement on financial relief. Qatar has stepped in with a proposal to provide Iran a $12B humanitarian loan. Notably, Lebanon is now part of the broader framework under discussion.

In order for President Trump to ensure Iran will "never" have a nuclear weapon we must 1) Get ALL enriched Uranium 2) Dismantle facilities above and under ground 3) Inspect anytime 4) commitment to NEVER enrich, no clock! Open Hormuz and we have a better deal and a safer world. It's not all we could hope for and we should still support the Iranians and all the people who will suffer due to this Islamic terrorist regimes ideology. We must still fight terrorism and Iran if they choose to continue to be the worlds leading sponsor of terror. Let's give @POTUS a chance to do this diplomatically. One of the problems making a deal with Iran is that Trump reneges on all his deals. As soon as Iran hands over their enriched uranium, Trump will find some new reason to re-impose sanctions. Iran knows this.

It's amazing the White House retweeted this as though what Iran's president says matters, as if to say, "See! They agreed to not get nukes!" This reeks of the kind of desperation Team Obama had when they acted like Iran's PR team to sell their garbage JCPOA in 2015.
