Black Americans - we are owed back money for ancestors' work. The wage theft is the thing. Sure an apology would be cute but we need to be paid for fighting wars and all sorts of other whacky racist violence, property theft, the overturning of special field order 15, and loads of isolated incidents - rather than a blanket payment for slavery altogether. Many of us participated in slavery in america and we should also be paid the same way white slave owners were paid by britain for loss of property when it was abolished.
Also, black americans with the Last Name Banks, were literally owned by Lloyd's and i can see it on my ancestry coming from my maternal grandfathers side and I would like more info about that....
