@thekitze I'm not an advocate for screens for children, but 'advice' like this come across as condescending and judgemental. Every child is different and you don't know other parents struggles. Also, one child at the age of 2 is still very early on. It's easy compared to what is ahead.

@MelkeyDev I use aerospace now because I can't disable SIP on my work laptop and I want to have consistency between work and personal. Yabai is superior if you can disable SIP. It uses spaces and never bugs out. Aerospace is good, but does sometimes have layout issues.

How I Doubled My 𝕏 Payout by Just Being Real! Last two weeks, I focused on meaningful replies – no spamming, just real conversations. I jumped into discussions that interested me, offered kind words to those who needed it, and simply showed up as a good person. The result? Replies up 73% and payout doubled. My goal this pay period is to double again. What’s working for you?

@ImLunaHey They're worried about the opportunity cost of either not doing the things they actually want to do (having fun), or not earning the money they know they could be earning at a job working for someone else.

@mattpocockuk If you've been down the ethernet cable route it's most likely a driver issue with the network card / OS rather than the WiFi. What happens if you boot into Ubuntu and try there (you don't have to install, just load the image into memory).

What's a massive following for if not for solving your niche tech problems? My PC has had an insane issue that I've spend dozens of hours trying to fix. Its WiFi just isn't as fast as my Mac's. Right now, I've got 120mbps on my Mac, and 20mbps on my PC. Steam Deck? Same as the Mac. I'll post more below, but what's your gut feeling on why this happens?

20 years ago we released Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas. The original plan was for the 3 cities to be on separate maps. The player would travel between the cities using trains and planes. (Gta 1 and 2 also had three cities on separate maps) Memory was very tight on the ps2 and with separate maps, the other cities’ skyline models wouldn’t have to be in memory. It would also make it easier to have different police/ambulance/firetrucks for each city. Different pickups, weather types etc. It would also be easier to contain the player until it was time for the next city. It would also make it easier to organize the models on the DVD city-by-city which would help the streaming. Just before the artists started working on the three maps, we had a final meeting at R* North in which we changed our minds and decided to go for a big map after all. We still ended up doing city-specific pickups, police cars and weather. Happy birthday San Andreas. You turned out all right.
