‼️‼️ This is alarming! ‼️‼️ Given the economic throttle in our city #Hyderabad, this is the time we need to expedite the count of #Buses in our city to 10,000 or so to cover every distance. Given the number of private vehicles increasing, We will not be able to manage the traffic congestion, public health and pollution in future by only flyovers and radial roads. Metro is much more capital intensive. #Bus #PublicTransportation can solve a large extent. Only you can think and act about it - @TelanganaCMO @revanth_anumula @KTRBRS @TelanganaCS @IPRTelangana If we don’t solve mobility, we will be the future of #GCC hubs, slowly we will lose it to someone else who does it well who provides better liveability. Better #Mobility will be the key differentiator for a city in future!! In fact we are competing now with Bengaluru, because of that!

@sselvan Like wise the already existing mmts being ignored which takes 10% of metro funds to build is neglected. Currently even a small distance takes 1 hr to 2hr during peak hours.

Cycling track is not just for cycle, but for electric scooter too, which is a great option for short commutes. Europe saw 312 million shared e-scooter mobility trips in 2024 alone.
