@koalafiedtesla @Tesla 💯 Basic AP is what most of us get - it should be ‘look what we can do out of the box’ , not ‘please don’t cause an accident’. I know plenty of people not even using AP cos it scared them one too many times. AP should be the gold standard of basic ADAS - if you want more - FSD

My hot take - The biggest reason for @Tesla owners not wanting FSD other than cost isn’t fear of self-driving cars themselves. It’s terrible and dangerous experiences with Tesla’s own standard ADAS functions. It’s slightly foggy outside today. I was using cruise control, and the car ran the windshield wipers nonstop. Then when I turned auto wipers off, it slammed the brakes to 45mph on a 70mph interstate and said “autopilot speed limited due to poor visibility”. Tesla, if you want people to trust FSD, you gotta fix the everyday customer’s experience first. Phantom braking shouldn’t be on ANY production vehicle, Tesla or not.

@brandenflasch Let me take a wild guess: you’re not using WhatsApp to communicate and do not use Teams at work. It isn’t about replacing Tesla navigation or entertainment - it’s about getting apps on screen that Tesla won’t offer. Don’t need those? Fine. But some of us do

People that want CarPlay in Teslas don't have Teslas

@neon_accountapp Das Thema ist nicht die Karte Zuhause lassen, sondern die Gebühr für die Kartenlieferung. Ich verstehe dass physische Lieferung etwas kostet, aber etwas zu zahlen dass ich dann nie brauche - das mag ich nicht. Insbesondere wenn’s andere Anbieter anders lösen (virt Card gratis)

@ssteiner78 Hoi Stephan, aktuell kannst du bei uns keine reine Virtualkarte bekommen. Aber du kannst die physische Karte einfach zu Hause lassen und nur mit Apple Pay bezahlen. :)

@neon_accountapp Was passiert wenn ich meine Karte nicht erneuere? Physische Karte brauche ich nicht, ne virtuelle für Apple Pay reicht völlig.

@congressdj I’m guessing you’re not using any apps that aren’t available on Tesla except Waze. Unfortunately there’s plenty of them. If you have meetings on Teams, it’s a pain, if you text using WhatsApp, same story, etc. Tesla usability is fine, it just lacks apps

“Tesla’s suck because they don’t have CarPlay”. Comments like this affirm to me that people have no idea of what they’re talking about in 99% of shade posts about Tesla. 😂 I used to be that CarPlay guy. I held off buying a Tesla for years because of it. So when I finally bought a Tesla, I got all the extra screens and gear to project CarPlay on the dash. And guess what. I retuned all that garbage in under a week because I realized what Tesla offered made CarPlay look like a middle school app dev contest hobby project. Don’t get me wrong. CarPlay is fine for cars with limited capability. But it’s been 2.5 years since I “demanded it”, and now I’ve come to dread it. CarPlay is dying, and it’s not just Tesla owners who think so.

@RailService Ist nämlich nicht das erste Mal wo ich massive Probleme hatte weil vor Fahrbeginn nicht angezeigt wurde dass die Verbindung nicht machbar war - letztes Mal war’s ein Unfall an einem Bhf mit Zugsausfällen und statt mich auf eine Alternative aufmerksam zu machen kam nix

Liebe @RailService wieso lässt ihr Kunden Tickets kaufen für ne Verbindung die gar nicht machbar ist? Heute 16:25:26 Thun Dufourkaserne - Zollbrück. Zu dem Zeitpunkt war euch bereits bekannt dass: 1) Bus Verspätung hat, 2) Bus wg Verkehrsüberlastung zusätzlich Verspätung kriegt

@RailService Ein paar Vorschläge: Wenn App geöffnet wird und eine Suche/Verbindung ist bereits ausgewählt: automatisch nochmals suchen - Verbindungen könnten sich verändert haben. Wählt man Billet zum kaufen: nochmals prüfen ob Verbindung möglich und entsprechend anzeigen

@yuh_app ist es möglich dass die ‚todays movements‘ Absicht nicht den heutigen Tag anzeigt? Die letzten 2 Tage hatte ich 13 up/.8 down. Aber ihr wisst was die letzen 2 Tage passiert ist - Grün hat Seltenheitswert und da sind Valoren grün welche die letzten 2 Tage abgestürzt sind

@larsmoravy Improve navigation: don’t say ‘turn right after 200m’, say ‘turn right the one after the next. And in cities suggest I change lanes in advance - I might have to use the left of right line of two lines in 500m because there’s a turn coming - in thick traffic it’s good to be early

@larsmoravy Reactivate Autosteer after lane change, improve wlan handling when starting to drive (mobile as hotspot requires you to wait in park until connected or you have to reenable WLAN after putting car in drive). Read text messages from WhatsApp/threema/etc. call contacts on ‘mobile’

@larsmoravy Adapt speed in 10km/ intervals instead of 5 km/h. Quicker data reconnect when driving cross boarders. Keep a public bug tracker where we can keep track of issues. More detailed changelogs on software (no more ‘undocumented changes’). Support rescue lane on highway

@larsmoravy Ability to reduce speed before speed sign (once sign recognition is fixed). Configurable aggressiveness for breaking / accelerating (accelerating if car before you accelerates is very - let’s say slow). Dont chime ‘green’ when light is for road in different direction

@larsmoravy Make comfort blinker work properly in all roundabouts. Make comfort Blinkers work reliably when theres zero torque to sterring wheel when setting blinker. Launch a site where community can add and vote for feature requests. Do not forget that not everybody can get /wants FSD

@larsmoravy Dont brake for cross Traffic (incl pedestrians) unless Risk of collision. Dont Panik brake when a new lane joins your lane and theres a car with the same speed as yozrs. No ‚assistant for cuvy road‘ on straights. Nuke Fleet Speed DB.

@larsmoravy Option to not turn on wipers when enabling TACC/AP. Option to unlock chargeport on opening dtiver Sude Doors/unlock car when not charging. Optional chime when new speed is accepted . Fix speed limit regognition (ist crap im .ch).

@YAPEAL_CH Wie sieht’s da mittlerweile aus? Realtime wollt ihr ja erstmals nicht machen (dachte bis 2026 müssten das alle Banken anbieten) wann kommt dann 24/7 im traditionellen SIC so dass ich 24/7 Zahlungen aufgeben kann (und dann sehe welche Banken wie lange brauchen für für Gutschrift)?

@yuh_app Gemacht, geholfen werden konnte mir nicht, müsse warten bis der Prozess durch ist. Ich stelle also fest dass Yuh mein Geld einfach so blockieren kann (überwiesen wurde noch nix). Betrag kam vom selben Konto (mir gehörend), auf das jetzt rücküberwiesen werde sollte. 🤮

@yuh_app Ich hab vor ziemlich genau 24h eine Inlandzahlung in CHF mit Ausführung 3.1. aufgegeben. Aktuell ist die Zahlung immer noch pendent. Gleicher Betrag gleiches Ziel zum fast gleichen Zeitpunkt bei WillBe wurde heute Nacht 00:28 gutgeschrieben. Was geht ab bei euch?

@NotATeslaApp Fix fleet speed database. Speeds are incorrect at least 1/3 of the time on my drives. Properly predict cross traffic snd don’t brake unless really warranted.

What features do you hope Tesla adds in 2025?
