PD asks residents to create a guide for NPPs on taking an H&P; something every MS1 is required to demonstrate proficiently. Why are we paying our residents 1/3 of an NPP salary, making them work 3x the hours, and making them train them? Stop the absurdity! #MedTwitter

@standforpts There are many affordable ways to go through this process. Fun fact: For my med school interview, my entire outfit was from Goodwill 🤭 and the headshot I have now was taken by my colleague who happens to be a photographer!

Yes, I completely understand what you're saying but ERs are stretch, there are not a lot of ER docs to go around, using contract docs is very very expensive, and everyone is using advanced practice providers as much as possible.
