You'll have to forgive me if I'm not necessary celebrating our "freedom" when driving on I80 across the country after seeing thousands of cameras, plate readers, and WiFi/Bluetooth signal trackers every exit or two. I'm reasonably positive that I got pulled over in Mississippi and my car searched because the system flagged my movements as suspicious since I'm a landscape photographer that just chases beautiful scenes. There was zero reason that I was pulled over and the cop never gave me one, even though I kept asking. I got no ticket and no warning. So this time I'm looking at cameras wondering if I'm gonna have another interaction while I just on my way to visiting my sick mother. This is one of the reasons I rail against these kind of systems. It's a type of dystopian precrime system that is the beginning of having to always prove your innocence.

Currently at the National Mall interviewing folks. The crowds are refusing to leave when ordered by Secret Service due to lightning concerns. At one point, there was a stampede towards the stage when the announcer came on asking them to leave again.

If true, the Lt Governor’s wife shouldn’t be calling DeSantis a coward for not endorsing anyone in the governors race. But I can and will. The state is on the verge of being taken over by the very people that fought against DeSantis from day one. The lawyer lobby, big weed and big tech. And he’s completely AWOL. When homeowners insurance and auto insurance skyrocket because they repeal all the reforms DeSantis got put in place. When our parks and streets are flooded with open drug use And Data Centers run our aquifers dry and pollute our water ways. It will have been allowed to happen, in part because of his decision to sit out advocating for a successor. Mind you, the very people in the FL legislature that support Donald’s were the ones that were dragging DeSantis and his staff through the mud for two years. And now, those very staffers are endorsing those people’s preferred candidate. Politics brings the worst out of people.
