1/ Proof of Human is becoming increasingly critical. In the limit democracy and human agency depend on it.
But building Proof of Human is unexpectedly challenging.
FaceID doesn't prevent one person to fabricate human presence for thousands of AI agents.
Government ID based Proof of Human is a surveillance risk and only 1b out of 8 billion people have verifiable IDs.

@nikitabier @justalexoki For iPhone you can use apple’s app attestations to insure that the tweet was typed from a smartphone. This only works for iPhone iOS, but it could be a cool experiment in proving that a human wrote a tweet.

@justalexoki Apps cannot access Apple’s FaceID API.
You can only technically access it via passkeys, but FaceID is optional in that case.
The only true way to verify that a human is present is a Face Liveness scan that immediately deletes. Instagram already does it and so do many other apps
