Both Steven (with Full Frontal) and I (with The Rules of Attraction) were the first filmmakers to take Final Cut Pro, a consumer tool, into prime time usage on feature films. I only narrowly beat him to theaters because his system crashed and he lost all his work. That’s what it means to be on the bleeding edge of filmmaking. The guy is a mad scientist and it doesn’t surprise me at all that he’s at the forefront of the greatest democratizing filmmaking tool since consumer digital cinema. No one complained when he shot a movie on an iPhone. It astonishes me that anyone is in a kerfuffle about his experimentation with AI.

I recently started using Seedance 2 inside @runwayml here's why • no need to have a business account (many other platforms ask you to pay for the highest subscription) • you can upscale your video in one click and a few seconds • their workflow node system is super convenient and you can just stay on the same platform • bonus point if you're a Creative Partner, it's basically unlimited

The green screen itself is a real stage lol. The 3D scifi set was done in Blender, he is just sowing how you can do the keying (isolating the character from the green screen set) and composite him in the 3D scene and also replace and add items in the same in a few sec. I worked as a VFX artist for 30 years and I can tell you it is a game changer. So much time is saved with AI.

Finally had the opportunity to cast a real actor in the MOC show. Using @Kling_ai motion control he even gets to perform the character beyond the voice. It'll be a few weeks before I get to share the scene but the results were amazing. Hybrid workflow is the future!

Took a finished 9-panel storyboard and asked @reve to generate each frame realistically. Not perfect yet but close enough to completely change how preproduction works. Ready-to-animate images, straight from your storyboard. Proud to be a #revecpp !
