The Republican controlled Senate has given up on the SAVE America Act, the bill requiring ID and proof of citizenship to vote. Republicans refuse to protect election integrity by getting rid of the filibuster (self imposed 60 vote rule) and just pass it with a simple majority even though they control the Senate with 52 seats. Instead of passing an election integrity bill overwhelmingly supported by Republicans voters, they are going to prioritize reauthorizing FISA, which allows warrantless spying on Americans, an issue that Republican voters have raged against for years and an issue Republicans promised to fix. When it comes to the filibuster the key word is REFUSE. It’s not that they don’t have the majority to do it, they do. It’s not that it’s unconstitutional to get rid of the filibuster, it is constitutional, the filibuster requiring 60 votes to pass legislation in the Senate is an arbitrary rule they choose to follow. They brush it aside whenever they want like when they vote to approve nominees and such. Democrats tried to get rid of the filibuster in 2022, when they held the majority in the Senate, in order to pass their election bill, and only failed because Senators Cinema and Manchin refused to do so. Both of them are gone now, so next time Democrats control the Senate, they will have no opposition to getting rid of the filibuster for whatever they want to do. Republicans fail on purpose because once they hold power they REFUSE to do what they promised on the campaign trail because they are completely captured by the biggest donors, corporate lobbyists, and even foreign interests. To be extremely clear, under full Republican control of the White House with Trump as President, the House of Representatives, and the Senate, they are not fixing election integrity at all and are continuing the government’s ability to spy on you without even getting a warrant. Stop believing their lying words that tickle your ears and make you feel good and only believe their actions. Judge them by their fruits.
In March 2021, the FDA was warned that its VAERS analysis algorithm could hide or mask safety signals from the COVID shots. Rather than alerting the public, they covered it up. This should be all over the news — it’s a blockbuster revelation. It’s a grotesque abuse of power. People died and were permanently disabled because they were denied fully informed consent on the COVID injections.
